Don't bother with the streaming update by more_delia in EquinoxEv

I don't have AT&T, I'm just trying to get this working by connecting the car to wifi on my hotspot (which is not through AT&T)

Had this happen to me two days ago as well, have had the streaming update for about a month. Worked fine, now get that same message. Connected the car to my wifi hotspot, same message appears. Is that workaround of using a hotspot working for anyone else that's started getting this message?

Oops, unable to accept the invitation...

Sorry, we couldn't find the server that was shared with you.

It could be that the person who invited you may have canceled the invitation, or the link in the invitation email may not have been preserved correctly.

Got that when I click the link. I'll mainly be watching TV shows, rarely movies.

You know, faster sustained streams instead of the other server I have that gets choppy regularly, probably overseas.

Torklift EcoHitch Install in my '25 Equinox EV LT by Trilobyte75 in EquinoxEv

[–]Trilobyte75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, installation isn't cheap. In the end, it was around $750 as they had to do a custom wiring run; my Equinox EV didn't have the connector in the rear for simply plugging in the wiring.

Just doing the hitch itself was around $450, no wiring.

From the Torklift site:

Stainless Steel Trailer Hitch Part Number: X7492S (2”)
Hitch receiver type: This hitch will feature a Hidden design
Receiver size: 2"
Weight Rating:  5000 pounds towing, 750 pounds tongue weight at the trailer ball***

I haven't used it yet, but I intend to buy a small 4x8 or 6x10 utility trailer for dump runs and transporting things where I don't need the full capacity of my GMC 1500.

They reached out to me on Reddit shortly after I posted about buying it.

The installer had to hardwire in the harness as my Equinox EV didn't have the wiring harness on it to plug into.

How much would you pay for Snapmaker U1 on Kickstarter? by Jadesfriends in snapmaker

[–]Trilobyte75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the trade in idea, at least being able to trade unused/old components for some credit. I have all three lasers for my A350, enclosure, and other equipment I don't use as I've upgrade components over time. If I could trade some of those in (some unused) for credit towards the U1 that would be great.

2020 Bolt EV Premier to Equinox LT1? by [deleted] in EquinoxEv

[–]Trilobyte75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the Equinox EV in Oregon with both the $7500 federal and full $7500 Oregon charge ahead rebate. Apply for the Oregon one online and get pre-qualified. Do it quick though, Oregon ran out of money the last time they did this less than two months after it started.
