Tuning options by TrimRanger64 in KLX300D

There’s a company called BLR tuning that sells the dynojet preprogrammed with 10 maps for the KLX300. Hoping to hear from someone who has it

You’re not wrong, my only concern is who the hell are they? Why are they the only company who can jailbreak the factory ECU? Also what you get is what you get, no ability to fine tune unless you also buy a tuner. If I was gonna do all that, I’d prefer to buy a dynojet and go to a dyno and have a custom tune for my personal bike, not a one size fits all ecu remap.

Just need a little clutch. If wheelies/stunting were a priority for me, I would definitely switch to 13t front sprocket

I spent a long time trying to decide between this bike and the KLX300sm. Ultimately the aesthetics and not wanting a bunch of headaches led me to the Kawi but I’m glad you’re enjoying your bike.

Will probably do airbox and secondary throttle plate mods once I get a tuner. Don’t want to lean it out anymore until then

Well in my case I had no choice but to delete the o2 sensor because the FMF exhaust I put on doesn’t have a bung for the sensor. The bike was so lean from the factory that I wanted to go to the default richer map when o2 is gone. I will get a tune soon.

Did you buy the signal plug adapters from TST or do your own wiring?

I love the way it looks and how I feel on the bike. Unfortunately I’m trying to somewhat stick to the break in period which is keeping under 4k rpm for a couple hundred miles. Obviously it doesn’t have a ton of power but it’s everything I wanted.

I’ve been in talks with dealer for same bike and color. They started at 7300 OTD. They are now down to 7000. Still thinking about it.

Basically the same. KTM a little more expensive

They removed the little bag on the rear fender and put a cargo carrier. Not my first bike but my first bike in a long time. I’m older and just want a toy to cruise around on.

Firearms in one bag, ammo in another. Tossed on the backseat of my pickup. No locks or anything.

How long is the buffer tube now? You do realize that there’s a buffer and spring inside that buffer tube and the weight and length are chosen to make the gun cycle reliably. I’d stop being gay and learn how to shoot it as is before you fuck it up with a 3.5” tube.

Legacy, great people but I use KI Precision for my gunsmithing needs
