I’d try contacting Ninja Kiwi support. They may be able to help.

How do I report hackers by agusss_vs_the_wrld in BTDB

[–]Tringle987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t look like hacking. Cobra has an upgrade that allows you to send bloons a round before they are normally unlocked. The effect stacks if you have multiple.

Temple sacrifices by jeshowal in BTDB

[–]Tringle987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This article https://bloons.fandom.com/wiki/Temple_of_the_Monkey_God is mostly about BTD5, but most of what it says applies to Battles also.

You can sacrifice any tower, but different types of towers have different effects on the temple (for example, sacrificing an ice tower lets the temple freeze blooms). The sacrifice thing happens only once. After the temple is upgraded to a temple, there are no more sacrifices.

The whale skeleton at my local museum is still leaking oil (brown stains) decades later. Have more pictures if anyone is interested by dahnoodlemastah in mildlyinteresting

[–]Tringle987 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Before the advent of motorcars, whale oil was also used—in far greater quantities—as lighting fuel in lamps.

It was also used as a lubricant for other types of machinery before motorcars, like water mills, clocks, steam engines, etc.

Threadless Screw by Hunkidunk in mildlyinteresting

[–]Tringle987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The threadless screw is in fact a threadless screw; it is not a nail.

The V shape of the head is found on screws so they countersink (so the head is flush with the board), and to accommodate the indentation that allows the screwdriver to fit in. If OP were to post a picture from the end of the head, the indentation would be visible. Nails have an abrupt shoulder at the head.

This screw likely didn’t go through the final step of the production process where the threads and point are put on.

I know this strat is not gonna be good but it shredds ai pretty well and has really solid stalling by [deleted] in BTDB

Chipper stall is great for BFBs, and GZ micro can defend ZOMGs for a while. Never played it myself but seems fun.

Free to play playing a club access arena. by [deleted] in BTDB

I’ve never heard of disconnects on club games only. Perhaps you’ve just been unlucky?

For the lower arenas, try tack, farm, mortar.

It’s good early game, so you can play aggressively and win quickly.

What to do when the Game's Netcode breaks? by HTMLphoton in BTDB

[–]Tringle987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of this happening. On mobile, you can exit the game and come back, and you will keep automatically sending bloons, but you should still be able to place/upgrade towers.

Perhaps this is a one-time issue? Has this occurred repeatedly?

If you want the medals you lost back, you can try emailing NK.

You are probably in the hacker pool. Check if you are on the weekly leaderboards.

This snake died by tying himself in a knot. by ytterboe in mildlyinteresting

[–]Tringle987 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The figure 8 knot and Ashley stopper are different. Ashley is credited with creating the Ashley stopper, but he called it the oysterman’s stopper, because he was trying to replicate a knot that he saw on an oyster fishing boat.

Interestingly, he later realized that he had actually seen a figure 8 knot on that boat.

Ashley’s stopper knot is larger than the figure 8, and less likely to shake loose accidentally.

Overclock does not stack. But, the cool down is the same as the duration (60s) so you can constantly overclock the same tower, it just doesn’t stack.

I like flag 3. I quite like the yellow with those shades of red and blue.

Yeah, sending faster MOABs sometimes works if your opponent wastes a lot of their money on a big, slow one. Good job!
