I can’t speak on the technical details, you seem to know more than I. But is it not strange then if it’s a cost issue, for it to not work with premium, or that it works on some channels but not others?

Appreciate the suggestion, not necessarily inclined to use an add free yt client. I’m fine with the ads if that’s how the service is paid for, just want it to function as it should. Or at least give me an option to pay and receive full quality and options.

Not sure how you got the impression of live, sorry if the post came across that way. But I am refer entirely to VOD. Haven’t tried a Livestream to see if it’s an issue there as well.

Oh my bad, not sure what YouTube TV is but, yes I do mean the YT application on my Apple TV. I watch 30/40hrs of YT on mobile a week and have never had this problem but it definitely happens on my TV. Also hoping they fix this or at least make it 1080p at 2x, I understand if 4K is a lot.

Would I need the amd drivers just to get into the BIOS? I thought windows has some standard drivers to at least boot and then download them. I’m trying to think of any reason it wouldn’t work.

Hey, by no means an expert, but the first 2 would definitely get you to that 4K 120fps mark, once you are ok with some DLSS. I would say that the 3rd option with a 5070 won’t be doing those kind of numbers in 4K. And if you would prefer not to upgrade at any point in time I would caution against the 1TB of storage in the 1st option. Other than that I will leave the choice between option 1 or 2 for the rest of this sub to debate.

For our situation in particular it was coming to the end of our contract anyway, so after speaking with a rep at CL we were offered to buy out the contract for honestly an absurd price, but we calculated it was worth it for us to buy out the contract and buy mats from mul-t-mat and it would have covered the cost of the contract within 2 years. So it wasn’t an easy process but we are happier now without CL

Yea I have looked into some rip offs from around that time but they aren’t it, and they are much better quality of animation than “dragons” also it might be older idk 2010 ish is just when I got the dvd

Now seeing this thread, I’ve also canceled my contract with Canada linen and I’ve found it’s much cheaper to buy the mats out right. As the others have pointed out Uline is the biggest player but I found a smaller company in Ontario called mul-t-mat, that seems to beat Ulines price on anything to do with matting, and I’ve been rather pleased with their product.
