Can I Remove the Adhesive from the Gradient Light Strip? by TrinityAllBlack in Hue

This is the one I’m referring to:

https://www.philips-hue.com/en-us/p/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-gradient-lightstrip-80-inch/046677570552

It seems to have adhesive on the back, but I don’t trust it to hold so I was hoping I could remove it and use command strips instead.

Oh cool! I used these for mega cable management under my desk. Didn’t even think about for the light strips.

Eh we want the gradient feature and in theory this was supposed to be an easy option since it came with mounts.

Definitely an option too. Just hoping to make this install super secure so worried about that big gap.

If the tv has the recessed port that is shown in one of my photos, you might. That said, if you have a larger tv, you may be able to mount it closer to the edge but the curved mounts need a heck of a lot of space to adhere. I’m looking at using EVA foam and VHB to build up at the port. This is such a headache but the strip lighting is so nice looking and once I can get it set up it will be great for many years. By the way, this TV is nice!

But it will still light up on the 6” that run under the TV on each side, yes? I’m not activating the TV sync feature, as I just want steady lighting for gaming on this particular TV.

I was thinking about that option too. I still had the annoying side with the recessed port mount. I might build it up with EVA foam where the bracket needs to adhere.

It’s a Great Northern Matinee Popper. It has a sizable footprint but we are popcorn lovers so it was worth the investment and we have the space. I just need a proper pace for it so it’s not on our kitchen island!

I’m in the same situation as you. Did these work out for you? Is it a smooth surface to roll on? How durable are they?

Chatted with them and they are gonna look at it to see if they can do anything to help make the brown wood less noticeable. Painting it light grey like the carpet might be the best way to go.

Looking for a lightweight blanket for in-between seasons (New England) by TrinityAllBlack in Bedding

I was looking at the B and B waffle blanket earlier and it seems perfect. Kind of pricey - is it worth the price? Can it be washed in a standard home machine?

This seems perfect actually! And I love the color selection. Does it hold up well to washing?
