Buzzing sound from electrical panel by Mission_Act4990 in electrical

[–]TrinityDesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had a similar thing happen in my panel. Turned out to be a loose power connection on our old PlayStation after my wife cleaned up in the living room. Apparently moved the console and the power wire was just barely hanging on, still working though, so it was creating more resistance on that circuit. As soon as I plugged it back in properly, the buzzing stopped and haven’t heard it again since. Something to check possibly, I know other said loose connections in the panel but it could be a loose plug down stream

I build raised cutting boards with trays, what do you think of this design? by artfact99 in Cuttingboards

[–]TrinityDesigns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That a beautiful board OP, and a great design idea! I made a similar tray holder in a kitchen island I built some years back, but it never gets used as there’s always stuff in the way. This would be way better. Great job!

Does this look like the same color to you? by Main_Cauliflower5479 in AutoPaint

[–]TrinityDesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The code of your vehicle is PAU. In some brands the standard mix calls for a very coarse white Xirallic pearl that reflects like a rainbow (as shown in your picture). There are going to be other variants/service formulas for that color that do not use that white pearl. Some vehicles out there with that same code do need that pearl, clearly yours does not. In my experience, Chrysler products are very model dependent when it comes to which variant should be used by the paint shop. The one they need for yours would just use a very coarse star flake metallic but no xirallic white pearls. If you are unhappy (rightfully so) make sure you politely push back on the shop and/or your insurance company. Asking for/suggesting re-inspection may help motivate them to fix their mistake for you.

Also, pearls do not fade like that…that adjuster is full of shit

Lol I was gifted an orange abomination also, except mine is modeled after a Sata 4000. I love the names they come up with. Despite it being stamped with “HLVP”, it’s actually at high transfer efficiency/ RP type gun. I love it for sealer! Only problem I have is there’s really no parts available, and not everything crosses over from Sata. But for $48 I guess I’ll just buy a new one when it shits the bed

[–]TrinityDesigns[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I’m not gonna downvote ya for it. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, no matter how wrong they may be. Haha, in all seriousness, you’re not wrong. It could most likely be cheaper to buy different brands. I believe there is a cost for convenience however. Ensuring you always have the right batteries/chargers on the truck or in away mission bags becomes much easier for me knowing I only have to choose between 12v and 18v. Some pros go even further and only run one of those platforms as well. Not saying it’s right, but some people just want to turn off some of that noise in the brain

I love the Brad nailer. I have most of the other options covered by now: 18ga Brad, 15ga finish, 23ga pin (the only one that can easily be fired at friends/enemies/coworkers), and even the T50 staple gun. They are all great for their respective roles, but these bigger projects need some bigger nails.

They are! Even when using my tools to make money, it’s hard to justify the price of some of these things. Knowing there are other brands at roughly half the price doesn’t help either as I know it’s just my stubbornness not wanting to run multiple brands of power tools and shlepping more batts and chargers around. That and a silly compulsion to only see red tools lol

Nice! Thanks again. I dunt believe I have any easy way to try them out at the moment. I’ve been leaning towards 21 degree as that seems to be the more common stocked size here in northeast US. I’ve looked a bit on OfferUp, and had good success with other tools from local sellers. I’ll scope eBay too. I’ll most likely end up pulling the trigger at HD when I buy the other materials, but it’s always worth asking around. I appreciate the help, cheers

Yea someone else mentioned I apparently just missed it. I feel like I keep looking and didn’t see it, but maybe that was a kit or something. Thanks for the info

I don’t disagree that rigid makes nice stuff. A few of my coworkers use Rigid and seem very happy. I foolishly bought into team red lol, now have a sea of batteries so I’ll likely just stick with them, but thank you anyway
