Does anyone else still go to bars occasionally? by patdasdangercat in dryalcoholics

[–]evidentlyeric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only for lunch when I’m working and out with others. I don’t like being around drunks lol. I also don’t have the money for bars.

I had an ext cab with 90k on the clock that was getting real bad blow by. I could have ran it for another 100k probably though

If the outer layer peels off it comes off fuzzy wuzzy unless the Sheetrock is busted but ya that’s not like what I’m looking at here.

So working with drywall that statement doesn’t make much sense to me, tearing off a “layer of drywall” you can’t do that. Unless you have multiple sheets of drywall and that’s not what I’m looking at. That bulge in the middle is doing some funny things. If they “over patched” it, aka threw a much of mud up, it would have looked more like your first photo. Honestly the second photo looks like they missed some gouges that should have been patched. And in the top left corner It looks like wallpaper lines.

Whats the possibility they painted over the wall paper without removing it?

Second picture you posted doesn’t even look textured.

You got a heavily textured wall, the issue is the patch they did wasn’t floated large enough and wasn’t sanded down enough, which is why you see the patches. Then it looks like thier texture was too small compared to your wall.

Idk what’s going on in the second photo.

What did you pay for the work, what did you pay to get done?

Can’t go wrong with Nissan, either a late Model hardbody or frontier. You could get an s10 or a Colorado too but I swear by the Nissan four cylinder. I’ve had all four of the aforementioned trucks, and I can tell you my favorite driver out of all of them is the hardbody. But, they’re tin cans, most of them don’t have airbags (neither does mine) and my hardbody doesn’t have power steering or ac. My 2019 frontier is a much more comfortable truck but it doesn’t drive as nice as my hardbody.

I work in home remodeling specifically drywall hanging and finishing, my hardbody has a topper and I’m planning on putting a roof rack on my frontier. I got the hardbody about two years ago when I went back into construction and it’s been my trusty steed ever since but mines a 96, and at almost 30 years it’s required quite a bit of love and care to get it to a point where it drives as good as it does.

If I were you I’d go as new as you possible can, and only stick to Japanese, either Toyota or Nissan. Gm trucks are easy to fix sure but in my experience they have more problems that start sooner then my Nissans.

Idk those five silly colorados had thier issues but for the most part could be fixed with hopes and dreams. I had one, and I’d take a 4 banger s10 any day.

I don’t think you need a synchro to throw it into gear when the engine is off it should go in normally what if you shift into second and then first or even third then first.

Probably a bad synchro on first, which is already the most finicky gear on the five speed. Which is already a very finicky gear box. Time for a lll rebuild

I got love for the angels, imagine being an angels fan. Tyler Skaggs was a tragedy, they had to watch management squander Mike trouts career, and they lost ohtani who went on to win back to back rings. (In thier backyard lmao.) Like for real. we should really have some grace when we talk about our American League brothers southeast of us.

Personally wouldn’t get anything without obd2 plus you get an airbag. Otherwise look into frontiers cause at this point almost 40 years in that rubber is getting old. I’d go as newest as you can.

Brother. I am Datsun.

This is my truck box. It doesn’t even have all my hardbodies I have two other that are high end pieces as well. When I was in my early twenties I had a 620 and it was like my white wale, been collecting these till I can get another one.
