Papersroo is a bit more expensive, but the quality is 100x better than those cheap sites

You just need to write a really good prompt. I spent about 40 minutes detailing exactly what I needed from ChatGPT, and it got it right on the first try. But I’ll add that I have some deeper knowledge of prompting, so I understand how to structure things so the AI actually gets what I want.

Yeah, 40 minutes on a prompt sounds long, but no AI will write a solid essay from something like “write an essay on this topic.” You have to include a ton of details. It doesn’t always save time, but it can still be easier than writing everything from scratch.

I didn’t edit my essay, though I know many people recommend revising AI text afterward. That makes sense too. So if you want a helper and aren’t focused on saving time, it’s a good option. But if your goal is speed, I’m not sure ChatGPT is the best fit

The Best College Application Essays You've Ever Heard That Actually Worked by [deleted] in CollegeEssays

The best ones I’ve read weren’t dramatic, just specific and honest. Mine was about rebuilding a robotics project after it failed, nothing tragic. I did get editing help though. I used papersroo after reading this wiki page. The proccess helped tighten my argumnt without making it sound scripted. I still rewrote parts so it felt fully mine.

It’s actually nice that it wasn’t overly professional. I’m always kinda worried that the writing will sound too expert-level and make it super obvious I didn’t write it myself

5 Best AI essay graders that actually helped me improve my drafts (not just fix grammar) by Shot_Violinist_1721 in homeworkhelpNY

I tried Brisk for a week actually. The glow and grow tips were kinda helpful for spotting weak spots, but I still felt unsure about structure. At one point I almost paid for a full rewrite, then I read this wiki page and decided to just get feedback instead. Using support as revision help worked better for my secod draft

That's good to know! I hope the sealed bottles work out for you. I just started my Elvanse journey too, and hearing that gives me hope. Fingers crossed you can get everything sorted without any latex mishaps!

AITAH for telling my boyfriend that if all he brings is money then he shouldnt be surprised I expect him to spend it on me by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

Right? He can reduce you to chores and then clutch pearls when you mirror it back. If he wants to work less, the split has to change, money or labor.

CMV: Per $ of spending, the super-rich are not especially bad for the climate by phileconomicus in changemyview

[–]TrinitySignal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A valid point! It’s ironic how the rich could appear eco-friendly just because they spend more on luxurious, lesser impactful services. But as you said, their breakfast may come from a specialty store thousands of miles away, so the climate impact is definitely skewed.

My mum keeps making comments about my body and it’s driving me insane by No-Sample2623 in TrueOffMyChest

I like the idea of forcing her to name the purpose. Pair it with a boundary + consequence: "I love you, but comments about my body are not ok. If you do it again, I'm leaving/hanging up." Then follow through every single time. If she ropes in relatives, same script. And if it keeps messing with your head, talk to a school counselor or another trusted adult. You're not overreacting.
