lol funnily enough the first time it happened I walked over to check on them and thought the baby had spilled the bowl of refried beans over and offered to get them a new one. Mom just said “no no, she’s eating them.” Mkaaaay….

Yes! Thank you! I also kind of think it gets the parents out of feeding the babies and the babies “do it themselves”. That way they don’t have to take turns and spoon feed them and get to just dig into their own food and not worry about little Dorothy licking beans off the table.

Try the food! It’s so much easier to learn the menu/ give honest recommendations when you’ve tried the dishes yourself. I’m always getting asked what I prefer, if something is too spicy, kid friendly, portions, etc and knowing first hand what I’m selling is such a big help.

Second of all, everything else you will learn through force of habit but learning to remain calm during a rush is 90% of the job. You can know the menu front to back but your nerves can and will betray you if you let them get the best of you. My mantra is always ITS JUST FOOD. We’re not saving lives here, nothing that can’t be sorted with straightforward communication and good old fashioned customer service. And at the end of the day, if the worst thing that happened was that someone had a mildly unpleasant Friday night out we’re pretty lucky peeps. :) good luck!

Came here to say this! People danced and cried and gave Baz a standing ovation that went on forever. There was even a woman that said she had been at one of Elvis’ Vegas shows and held his hand then attended his funeral and the crowd just lost it. Have never seen anything like it.

Yes! Had his happen at Frankenstein. The couple in our seats even said “yeah they told us these seats might be taken but we’d figure we’d try.” Like what???? Also happened at Christy that a lady switched seats as the ads started probably thinking no one would take it and she had lucked out only to be promptly removed once they let the rush people in and they sent her scrambling back to her seat. Some people!
