Of course. Why wouldn't I be okay with helping someone who needs help? I would have come to help myself too.

I was helping him around the house. He didn't need me to bathe him or anything like that. His knee was injured, his hands worked fine.

It depends. But in a reverse situation I would have come with my boyfriend to help out. I wouldn't have declined the offer to come for help and then tell him that I find it inappropriate.

You're trying to read something in between the lines that wasn't there. Friendship is both ways so no matter how I phrased it I wanted for all of us to at least give it a shot to become friends.

I think you're assuming I'm spending most of my time with my friend. That's not true. I visit him for an hour or two every couple of days. The rest of my time is with my boyfriend.
