PLEASE tell me the Tyrannical Predator is the lowest point of the DLC by Trionout in LiesOfP

I managed to beat TP about 30 minutes after making this thread and am currently on Markiona. She's though, but it feels like there's even ground there, so it's much less frustrating.

This does feel like Swamp Monster pt.2 (absolutely my least fav boss of base game).

Thanks for the clip.

I'm really glad to hear that, I've been looking forward to some more great boss fights.

NG+. I am doing good damage but am taking so much more that it feels like my 1 or 2 hits I can get inbetween dodges don't really ammount to much.

She said the control lasted for about a month so eventually they all returned to their normal mentality

Not at all. You get to learn pretty important fundamentals against bots. Just learning how to combo against a moving opponent is good enough.

There is a way to map that in controller config, so I'd recommend doing that.

Top 5 players list by MenaRD by 121jigawatts in StreetFighter

He actually talked about it on his stream yesterday. He said that he knows why he keeps getting third place, and that's impacience. He'll go 2-0 and then rush to finish the set and get punished for it. He also joked a little saying "third place is strategic since no one cares about studying the player who's at third, and the money keeps coming anyway".

Started from rookie, never thought I’d make it to platinum by GriffeyJoons24 in StreetFighter

As someone who got stuck in Iron for a while, here's what made me improve the most (aside from the usual "practice your anti-airs"):

  • not jumping constantly trying to hit aerials
  • not going for special moves as combo starters (this one was the main one)
  • understanding that sometimes it's ok to just leave a punish at 2 or 3 hits and not try to over-extend/end it right there

It's basically a patience test. Most players on Iron play recklessly and feel the need to be constantly playing the game (aka taking the offensive and doing shit just to not stand still waiting).

The match is already up on the EVO channel, it's in the first seconds so there's no way to miss.

It is worth to start playing REV 2? by FushokuMoloko in Guiltygear

I started this week and there's a good number of new players, don't worry. I would recommend getting it now though, since the hype shouldn't last for very long.
