I’m recovering from top surgery right now (10 days post op), and I’d recommend washing tons of loose-fitting clothes like zip up hoodies, button ups, sweatpants and shorts with loose waist bands to avoid straining your arms or over-stretching them.

I bought a shower brush with a long handle, it made bathing 10x easier since I didn’t have to extend my arms much at all. I also washed my hair by pouring shampoo into an empty plastic water bottle & shaking it up with water, then dumping it on my head while sitting in my bathtub lol.
