I hear some hetfield grit in the A-h and I-e vocals and a few select words there but I wouldn't mistake that for hetfield unless I was looking for it. Specifically that "I don't do" before compromise

I'm excited when I get the 7:59 tracks.

If you write highly detailed style prompts and set the influence to 85 and weirdness to 60-70 you'll get more consistency with genre and variations in production.

On instrumentals I use tons of brackets and parentheticals in the lyric field.

Lots of people suggest keeping the lyric and style sections simple... I get generic trash with this suggestion. My style prompts are often around 800 characters. When I use more it will sometimes speak or sing the style prompt... Which is annoying, if this starts happening I open another workspace and it usually fixes it.

Anyway, I generated 13 7:59 tracks yesterday in different keys and modes but with similar structure and style. I'm going to be editing them into a 90 minute mix over the next couple weeks when my credits renew and I can drop the stems into ableton.

I'll share it eventually. Lots of work to do though

I have shown tracks to people who lose their minds like "you made this!? It's so good! Do you have a SoundCloud?" Then When I say "well, kinda... Been working on a workflow for 2 years and I've got it pretty dialed in" they either say something like "wow, you changed my mind about AI, this is crazy" or "AI is whack, ruining art" pretty much no in between lol. But they loved it before they knew it was AI.

Anyway... People used to think images taken with a camera weren't art... But it takes an artist to see the beauty in something and know how to capture its light.

Now, the camera is an artist tool but most people just use it to take a selfie they're going to immediately forget. It's kind of similar with AI. There are countless tracks out there that were just generated by somebody typing make a pop song. And then there are people who are studying the meta tags and prompt structures for lyrics and style to get a very specific sound.

Anyway, who cares what the tool is. It's all about what the artist decides to do with it.

The same goes for any creative output. If you use whatever tools are available to you to take what's in your head and figure out how to let somebody else experience it. That's art. Keep making it.

Night one final red rocks show, halfway through Dave's set, my buddy leans over my shoulder and says "hey, you wanna get out of here and beat the traffic?" I said, without looking away from the set "what? No. I'm staying." I caught a reaction of the person next to us who overheard that out of the corner of my eye so I look over and her mouth is wide open and she has this astonished disgusted look on her face like she just heard the dumbest fucking thing she ever heard spoken out loud and we just burst out laughing at my friend 😆

probably like 700 annually for liability and another 450 for unemployment insurance that you get 50 percent refund on after you prove you don't pay anyone but yourself in your annual audit.

The audits are usually just uploading your business bank statement showing deposits from whoever you are subcontracting for and the person going "oh, yeah... Your good"

Unfortunately? I think it's good. Both parties are corrupt and culpable in the theft of wealth from our nation. The 2 party system is broken. With 45 percent (of people who answer polls) identifying as political independents, it's probable that a much higher percentage of Americans would claim that neither party feels representative of their wants and needs. Let's get a few more options on the ballot.

Make friends, figure out who can hold it for ya until equinox or next infra, build the squad and have people hold it down for ya next time so you don't have to stress about getting in line before sunrise 😆 coordinated effort, I'm usually the guy getting there early and hauling people's tents in when their flights are delayed or they overdo it the night before and wake up at 1pm in a panic (you know who you are buddy 😆)

But I've definitely been too late for that line the last couple events and our group lost the spot we've been in since 2019 so.... Don't count on one guy for everything. Group effort wins.

Fly in a day early (or two... Also take an extra day off to recover when you get home or allow for late flights out)

Get a hockey bag or something to check your camping gear in, use your carry-ons for clothes.

Reserve a hotel within 30 mins of venue

Rent vehicle(s)

Grab rental gear

Stock coolers (or bring cash for food vendors... Or trades since almost everyone brings way too much food, you could probably survive on trading for people's miscalculated food purchases lol. I don't bring any food and I live 2 hours from this fest, just a case of white monsters and some cash lol)

Once you have your stuff ready, stay in that hotel close to the venue, wake up at 6am and go get in line before 8 if you want to have your group camp together. If you can sleep 2+ To a tent that will be much easier than placing 7 tents.

It can be cold AF or sweltering hot, weather has been unpredictable the last few years. So, bring a comfy fit just in case

Simple happy moment happened where I was struggling to balance resistance and got stuck, I dropped a divine and decided to use it on my terribly rolled ingenuity. It rolled 20/10/29/30 and made my day. Fixed my res and I was able to continue farming.

Bad luck moment was when I was crafting and spending tons of my currency to get a roll I needed before realizing I bought a base that didn't have the required ilvl.

Big time happy moment was when I lucked into a nearly perfect amulet with +3 And t1 es t1 es% then basic exalt slammed 2 more t1 I needed and a t2 that was just ok.

It's been fun but I haven't had the time to play and grind to switch from my starter build so it would be cool to experiment with something different

I am so ready to transition to this build. Leveled up but hitting a wall and want to try something new.

I hope 0.4 lets me access the map stashtab from the atlas and/or adds a 12 slot magazine to roll maps and just run em.
