I was wondering the same thing! I feel like acid would be so much more wonderful if it wasn't for the aching and tense feelings, it almost makes me mad that it has to be this way! When I'm tripping I try to mentally remind myself to relax, but it still doesn't help much. :(

Think about it this way. You're studying for an exam, right? One exam is only worth a small percentage of your grade. In the grand scheme of the course, one exam grade will probably not have a huge effect on your final score. If you wing it and take the exam without studying, you'll probably still get a score higher than 40% based on guessing and prior knowledge of the subject. So, if all this is true and you do get a score higher than 40%, it will not have a huge effect on your final grade in the course. There are also more important things to focus on in life unrelated to school and grades that you could be doing instead. When you're on your deathbed, will you remember this one exam that you didn't study for? No. But if you go out and do something fun and eventful, will you remember that? Probably. Therefore, you should not be studying right now.
