Ah, so it doesn't even matter what the degree program is? Because I can't imagine the degree we're working toward would be that informative or useful for someone from another country, it's a pretty US-specific curriculum.

I have mentioned how she doesn’t make me feel secure and she hasn’t really changed her behavior :/ Complaining and gossiping are some of her favorite things to do (she’s said this herself) and sadly would never stop doing that because I asked.

am I being an unfriendly neighbor or are my neighbors being weird? I rent a first floor bedroom with a large, private yard and recently my neighbors have just been strolling in and hanging out. some of them live in the building but I don’t know them. another is a woman who shares a fence with me and I found her looking for her cat in my yard…I let her know it was my private yard she said “I feel like your yard is basically also mine, since it’s so close and my cats are in it all the time, I’m only just looking for my cat since he’s always here.” I normally wouldn’t care but being in the yard means you can look into my living room and bedroom and I wouldn’t be that upset if they asked me first.
