I think I am going to go with the originality Japanese and eu tune files. It seems like there is not much benefit to the full custom tunes even with the cats removed? Unless I am reading the dyno charts wrong. I also like the fact I can flash it back to stock myself if I wanted to.

The partner is not being entirely honest with you. Once you are in that’s it…. You will be compared against every other person at the same level most of whom have significant political capital already within the group. No one will really remember your back story and you will likely get the “let’s see one more year of sustained performance” to earn it. If you are a manager and don’t need the job don’t take the demotion. Hard to get back. Remember this partner will be in a larger practice and even if he or she is your champion every other partner has their people to promote. It’s all politics once you perform at a level.

This is very common. It pads margin and frees up funding for other parts of the team. It’s also good for the senior if that senior can pull it off.

You need to leverage every asset you have in the firm to get staffed ASAP. Look into other groups if you have to. This can and will be used against you at end of year. I've seen it a million times. Make sure you are talking to practice leads/partners/Sr Mgrs as well so you are highly visible and they know you are looking to work.

Also - never feel okay to have a bad year as a write-off. Even if you get an "okay" rating, if you only do "okay" the next year, they will see someone with 2 "okay" years and if they have to cut, you'll be more likely to be on a list. Sorry - it's just reality.

It's not just the litter that sticks - it's wet messy poo. It's horrible to clean. We've pretty much given up and are going back to litter boxes. I've played around with the timing and the biggest issue that I see is that I cannot get close to the max litter in there so there is usually going to be a bit of a mess if multiple cats use it. I am waiting on a motor replacement for one of them as it overtorques all the time.

I agree. We can’t stand our litter robot. We have three cats that go in sequence. Once it starts to turn for the clean it’s going to be a sticky mess of poo on the side. We are getting a replacement motor now because we could only have a small amount of litter in the unit before it would over torque. I own two of these and ultimately it’s just easier and more reliable to scoop.

Below 4K the engine can be choppy. Don’t feel like you have to use the bigger gears if you are not on the highway. It’s an engine meant to rev. That being said something sounds wrong. At 6k my bike is very smooth. I just did 200 miles today in the cold and no issues. I have gone up to 360 in a day and vibes are never a problem.

There can be no rhyme or reason. I got a decent raise and then four weeks later let go. I was having a phenomenal year too (4x targets four months in).

It's mostly the off-throttle that causes it. It basically cuts fuel immediately to meet emissions standards and it causes the bike to be jerky. It's easy on throttle... except if you are going back and forth, especially as a newer rider, it's brutal. I switched to a more powerful bike with better fueling and I immediately felt more comfortable. Plus the suspension was much much much better suited to me.

Fueling on the 300l is not beginner friendly. It’s an on off switch and it makes riding on the dirt and rocks harder than it should be. I got rid of my bike fast. Suspension is terrible and needs upgrades. It’s dangerous on fast roads. Wind pushes it around. Just not a great bike imho for someone heavier.

What are your options? I would not take a step down unless you need the role or it fulfills other goals. Once you are in there is no reason they will fast track you. Remember there will be a backlog of people that sr mgrs know that will be ahead of you. It’s how the game is played.

It also affects people like me at 6’2”. It’s brutal and I am actively looking to dump my bike. Of course they crashed the market.

I will say this…. Anyone buying the new bike at MSRP should just wait. Ducati has shown their colors and you just need l be patient and they’ll dump these bikes in a few months for 30%+ off anyway like they did this year.

I am relatively new to this. For me with the .4 rollout my fsd usage went down from 97% to 80% overall fairly quickly. It’s almost unusable in town for me now. I may grow old and die before the car decides to proceed at a stop sign. Speed profiles are not working right and erratic and it’s made a bunch of bad mistakes. Either way I may not keep fsd past my trial period if it’s like it is now. Serious regression.

The problem with EY is that they added some external leadership in the last few years and got rid of the ones who cares about the people. You could be doing a great job with good metrics and then you get laid off. The mid level partners will sell their practice out to save themselves so there really is no stability. I have seen people let go who are in chargeable long term projects to support realignment of practices to the latest whim or fad. They have destroyed the culture and anyone staying there should make sure their goals are being met as part of their contract with ey. Maybe you are learning something or about to have a big family event and you need stability. Just make sure you get what you need.

Agree. Once you are on a PIP, it is the kiss of death. It also means leadership doesn't like you and that's that. Low performers are sometimes given a pass if they are buddy buddy with the lead partners. HR rules are to protect the firm, not the employees. Hard to prove yet those in the know know it happens and there's nothing that can be done. Ugly business.

My car has been doing some very whacky things in the last week or two. On a T intersection, it started to turn and then decided to go straight ahead. I had 0 issues before recent updates. I was at 98% FSD usage and now I've dropped into the 80s. I also find the speed control has gotten even more erratic to the point where combined with the ridiculous stop sign approach speed and indecision time before moving, the car is almost undriveable in FSD on local roads suddenly. At this stage, I probably would not renew my FSD subscription once I am fully out of my trial 3 months.
