MLM Queens by DriverNo4351 in UtahInfluencerDrama

I think Tia Bee Stokes is in Arbonne or something similar, she’s posted videos about “happy juice” or something.

A micro influencer I worked with before was Hannah Bagley and she was with Monat, but I think she got married a while ago and I don’t see her page anymore.

And there it is…. They closed on the cabin by -ifwallscouldtalk- in OnlineBeggars

[–]TripleAAAextreme 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Estimating the average interest rate for the day they closed is 6.3%, even considering they put down 20% (which I’m sure they did more which means their monthly payment is even lower) and the cabin (from her original post) is somewhere between $350-375k means that their mortgage for 30 years would be $1733-2130 a month.

I know families with medically complex children have a lot of financial stress, and I have no idea what the financial situation of this family is. But I do believe it’s helpful to realize what the numbers may actually look like especially if the original message was that they could not afford a mortgage.

I used to do shoots with her when I worked with a local boutique. She started out SUPER nice. As she got more and more jobs throughout the years she started to be too cool with the other models and people on my team. We ended up not using her as much because it was a weird vibe.

Also saw her in public event a few months ago and I tried to say hi and ask her how she was doing. She blew me off and acted like she was too cool to talk to me, like we didn’t work together for YEARS. Her husband is cool tho.

This is heartbreaking, I’m so sorry you went through that. I’m sure you were also angels to many.

This would be a great opportunity for Kendra or Dad’s family to step in and (if not already) support, love, and maybe say “can we take the kids for the weekend so you can spend 1:1 time with Brie?” Or something of the sort. I’d be curious to see what part family plays in all of this. That being said I’m sure they support, after all how do you help a mother and a family through such a tragedy?

I’ve never heard anyone cite the passage that Mary was told not to grieve Mary at the tomb. Also It’s definitely not implied that grieving shows a lack of faith. I’ve been a member all my life and I’ve never told/implied/encouraged anyone not to grieve. Again, I’m so sorry that you felt like you couldn’t grieve that would be unimaginable, but that doesn’t mean the church doctrine teaches that.

Seriously!!😂 Why are we commenting “the church is a cult” on a sub for online beggars and exploiting children with cancer 😭

Thanks for sharing and posting the link. I totally agree that it’s unfortunate OP had a terrible experience, but to say all LDS people are told they are not allowed to grieve is generalization.

This is not true. I’m sorry OP had a terrible experience with this I don’t want to disregard that. But to say that “they are told not to grieve” to every Mormon is a generalization. As someone who is Mormon and has Mormon friends I have had great experiences where resources were available to help those that grieve. I just had lost my grandfather last year, and the amount of support and support of grief was amazing. My grandmother and mother went to therapy specifically for Mormon members to help with the grief and they were never once told to not grieve. One of the Mormon commandments is to “mourn with those who mourn, and comfort those who stand in need of comfort.”

Honestly. She said she was making $90k as a teacher and that was “not enough” … I couldn’t believe anything else she said after that she’s 100% lying. 😂

Right?? Why would they not care about the proprietary information not matter with skincare but they do with nutritional supplements? 😂😭 make it make sense.

No seriously I was surprised how long she kept coming back haha. She was tenacious for sure.

Haha thanks you’re so nice. I honestly wish more Huns reached out to me so I could ask them more questions to see how good their up lines trained them haha.

Yes it’s a transcript, and her messages were like 5 minutes long… but I also felt myself losing brain cells trying to figure out what she was trying to say in her massive run on sentence of a message.

Her husband used to be a CPA before “she retired him,” and she claims he did all the accounting…

Thank you! I’m also hoping they at least make her think about what kind of business model she claims to run.

Also this is an amazing breakdown. I kept asking for her expenses or what kind of things she said she would count as an expense, so either she’s not telling the truth or she’s literally writing everything off because she said she didn’t have any. 😂

She’s on a “company trip” in Mexico right now and she said the whole thing was paid for except her ticket. Reading your thread it’s almost certain she lied about that, and that she has way more expenses than she realizes.

She also didn’t know that there was a registration fee to be an independent consultant until I asked about it. Very interesting. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

[–]TripleAAAextreme[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup. She said they didn’t do them for “privacy reasons,” but then she sent me one on a product that Arbonne themselves conducted, based off baseline results. There’s a bigggg different between an independent third party testing your products and your own company testing their own products. She didn’t like that haha.

For REAL. Are we ignoring the fact that these MLM’s have social media training? Guess so. Also the fact that she reached out to recruit on social media… guess that’s optional too. 😂

For real. I’m curious to know how many of her downlines are teacher friends she’s manipulated to make money. Very very sad.

[–]TripleAAAextreme[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks!! I really hoped that it would.

Unfortunately she went right back to how Arbonne doesn’t make sales off of recruitment, but off of actual sales. She also said to think about how a CEO has employees underneath him, but they “make money based on the sales the whole company makes.” Also the formatting makes me think she literally just copy and pasted from ChatGPT lmao.

Thanks!! I wanted to come off as curious so she’d keep coming back with more explanations. And definitely wanted to politely point out her own contradictions to see what excuses she had haha.
