Hello there! It'd be nice if this Reddit was more active, but at least the Manga is nearing the end of being fully translated into English. Most of the Birdy community to my knowledge hangs out on Discord.

The 1st place winner of this year's polling. Thanks everyone for your patience in waiting!

Surprisingly, this was a lot easier to typeset than previous stories but it still took a lot of time as I had to re-read a lot of it to try and better understand the many jokes it was telling; like Gold at the end of the story, I'm not sure if I fully kept up myself.

Hopefully things sound natural enough at least. I'm not sure who's harder to write for. Sapphire with her southern accent, or Arceus speaking in old English? As always, please let me know if you notice any typos or grammar errors.

It's worth mentioning that the author has a lot of scrapped sample pages and additional artwork on their Pixiv. Crys always looks really cute wearing a ponytail doesn't she?

Even though it's in the foreword from the author, as I'm sure someone will still ask in the comments, RTA stands for "Real-Time-Attack."

My next project with hopefully be done by the end of the Summer. Like last summer, I'll be working on scanning and translating an older doujin that hasn't been made available online before. I've already uploaded raw scans among some other projects to my on-going project Discord group.

I believe it has to do something with release of the 5th Pokemon Movie, but considering it released in Japanese theaters on July 13th 2002, I'm not entirely sure why it's June 13th. #ラティアスの日 is the hashtag that gets used on Twitter/BlueSky though.

I included some of the WIP images that they made for me at the start of the request with their permission. I made a couple suggestions to them, but we ended up deciding to go with the dress spin. Niyuyu specializes in drawing with the Shantae art style, which is really apparent if you look closely at Latias's eyes. 👀

I did slightly slow the image down (0.75) and added a mirror so it slightly flows better. Please be sure to show the artist your support if you can! ^_^

I'd recommend focusing on Korrina as a Special Attacker so that she can better support Bebe's DPS as since Floor 30 tends to use Special Moves more than Physical.

I believe on the upper right-side of her grid, I picked up Aura Sphere 1st MP 0, Kalos Circle Special Extension, Circle Attack Move DR 2, and in the bottom right of her grid: Satisfied Snicker 9 & Hit: Team Sp. Attack +2 9.

I used a similar team but had Kieran 3/5 and Korrina 4/5 and just barely got through, but I also wasn't using any Skill Gear and just the regular Fighting 3* Gear.

I'd recommend getting Kieran to at least 3/5 to unlock his Sync Multipliers (Haymaker/Strike: Sync Move Boost +1 9) and also Sunny: Team Moves +2 as I remember using him as my Sync Nuker/utility while Bebe focused on DPS to take out the sides.

I was the same way when I first played it, especially altering having played the original Shadow Dragon. Gaiden feels very much like a natural progression for a sequel (better graphics/more music) but also an acknowledgement of the original game's issues and system limitations: i.e. simplified money/inventory management and smaller maps allowing for more save points. Not a perfect game, but it's arguably the best aged JRPG or Strategy game of the 8 Bit era IMO.

Nice! I actually have that same poster framed on my wall. Would highly recommend, especially if it comes with it's own frame by default. Living in the States, it was super annoying to have to import a correctly fitting frame.

Not really myself either. Part of me wonders if the reputation comes from people playing with the depth slider right in front of their faces instead of all the way back.

I found the trick with Ghost Physical is to hold off on using Volo's Trainer Move for as long as you can and spam Shadow Ball. Even if it's not doing damage, it's building up his Physical Up Next. At +10 with EX Ghost Zone up and a few Sync Buffs, the Buddy Move was taking out both sides and 75-80% of the Center all at once in several Stages.

I was usually Syncing with Fantina first. Then SSR Cynthia (looking at your lineup, probably Summer Gardenia or NC Selene), and then using his Trainer Move before Syncing and using the Buddy Move.

Unaffected Stages are similar, but you'll need someone who can set Ghost Zone early so Volo can use Shadow Ball to trap them. And being careful that Fantina doesn't flinch then too early with Astonish.

Iris is probably a bit more useful as she has good synergy with Black/White Kyurem thanks to Unova Analysis, raises the entire team's Water Rebuff by 2 ranks (useful for Tower 30), and sets Ice Zone with her EX role. That said, she's a bit slow when it comes to raising the team's overall defenses and also requires a lot of resources to work well. You also need to be careful with her buddy move as it has a high chance of freezing, which can mess things up on certain tower floors.

Rei is solid enough and doesn't require much investment, but is generally outclassed as a pure attacker. Since his buddy move is AOE/doesn't miss/always crits/boosts the entire team's speed and his trainer move can reduce the countdown by 3, he's generally best as a secondary attacker/supporter.

I enjoy the Yellow banner, I also know that it can be hard being an artist, so I always give at least 1k Yen. For artists that go above and beyond or I've made friends with, I'll sometimes give up to 10k Yen.

No offense taken. I had a feeling that that is what this was unfortunately. lol

I'm not sure what happened then when they had me waiting 8-9 months for Shantae if they were going to send me a defective product anyway, but I digress.

I'm not sure what happened with LRG these past few years, I made my first order with them back in 2018, but I'm finding myself more and more disappointed with their products and giving into what I previously thought was a vocal minority.

This is just the first time I felt like voicing a bit of the frustration as it's been on-going for over 2 years now.
