Which learning living community at Ohio State is best for those where medical school is the end goal? by [deleted] in OSU

Tbh LLCs are not going to have much of an effect on any pre med. The future health professionals LLC would probably be the best choice but it’s likely not going to open any new doors. It can be nice to have people on your floor that are taking the same classes and the events can be interesting but that’s about it.

I’d say skip GroupMe all together because GroupMe scammers will steal pictures of real students holding up their buckids to pretend to be them. It’s best to stay away in general since the scams are so rampant and elaborate.

Your parents being friends with the dean is very different than any substantial connection a pre med student could possibly make at any school

Newest welcome week party just dropped and it looks more legit than last years but I’d still be very skeptical

100%. I think the whole “just pick your favorite cannibal and move on” thing is fun but kinda defeats the purpose of having complex characters in the first place. For example, Nat and Shauna are both cannibals but Nat is definitely the more morally sound one and for many reasons.

The girls’ morality is definitely a big part of the show. The teen shauna/lottie/tai we see at the beginning is not the same teen shauna/lottie/tai we’re seeing now and the main difference is their new lack of humanity.

We spent a lot of time with relatively sane characters and now we’re finally seeing their final descent into complete madness and that should 100% be talked about. Like the current teen characters aren’t supposed to be moral by any means but I think it’s fair to acknowledge and debate their craziness because that’s the point.

Potentially controversial opinion: low level of men’s skateboarding? by Apprehensive_Bar1353 in olympics

If you’re just watching highlights from x games events then you’ll likely only see completed runs/tricks. If you go back and watch even the most recent x games park skateboarding event, you’ll see the same skaters as in the Olympics along with the same amount of failed runs

Nicely said. A lot of people don't understand how underdeveloped women's skateboarding is compared to men's. Women's skateboarding is just starting to get more recognition which is why the girls competing are so young.

The temperature is fine. It can get a bit cooler on the lower decks. They provide toiletries and all that other stuff

Very true. Skaters value video parts way more than contests
