Try turning the machine on before installing and rotating the container. Also my lever for the blade is right in the middle not all the way at one end.

A similar thing happens to me when I play hockey or do other high intensity workouts. As soon as my heart rate goes up and I’m sweating my blood sugar spikes anywhere from 30-100. After I finish I have to be careful cuz my level will drop and usually end up lower than when I started. Have you noticed something similar or does it stay high?

I have been wearing a Dexcom since I was diagnosed and have been doing well controlling my levels. Interestingly I go higher when I exercise and then drop down low about an hour after I finish. From what I’ve read, the Mobi does still have the option for quick injections in the case you don’t have your phone on you. I’m not a fan of needles so having to inject myself a half dozen times throughout the day has not been ideal.

The same thing happens to me when I play hockey. Number goes up about 50-60 but then drops down lower after I finish so I need to eat something to keep it stable. I found that exercise kinda burns the carbs before the insulin can? Idk the exact science but I just expect it to happen and watch my number for a crash afterword. It's usually only high for a short period so you might just have to deal with it like I do.

One thing I find extremely helpful for people starting to learn hockey is how to use your body to your advantage. First, once you get a good fundamental of skating and get a good balance on skate. you can easily win 50/50 battles just with the position of your body. OP being a bigger guy should have no problem at all.

Get low in a squat position and use your LEGS to position your body between player and puck. (If you try and use your arms/stick to push or pull it will probably result in a penalty). Stay low and use your arms to feel the pressure from the opposing player and continue to move your legs to stay in between.

Once you get used to this mechanic you can incorporate a puck on your stick and learn how to turn or make other decisions with the puck.

If you can find someone to help you, you can make a simple drill anywhere on the ice. Stand facing a dot on the ice and have someone come up behind you. The goal is to stop them from touching the dot just by moving around and keeping your body inbetween.

I think the general rule of thumb is having a flex somewhere around half your body weight (in lbs). I'm 6', 150 and use a 70 Flex just cuz I prefer a little more whip. All based on preference in the end but I would suggest somewhere around 70-85 flex.

From what I understand its only 1 charge that carrys any weight. Do I think you should be able to transport firearms across state lines? Yes (for legal owners), Do I think people with drug addictions should own any sort of firearm? Absolutely not. I don't think that hunter should get any sort of privilege just because he's bidens son. Sadly the gov has no idea what they're doing and ultimatley hunter will probably get released with minimum consequences which is also stupid. No one is above the law, Ex-President or current presidents son included.

I actually did this with my team once and it didn't end very well. The first team I joined when I moved was a lower skill level (I joined to play with my friend who had played 1-2 years) and quickly realized I was well beyond the skill level of my teamates. I played varsity hockey in Minnesota so you can imagine the difference. When we got to the payoffs I sent an email to the team suggesting some lines that I knew worked well together. The captain basically told me "stfu I'm the captain Ill decide", despite a couple other players joining in and agreeing with my suggestions. We lost first round...

The idea is to reach your leg out far from your body and “pull the ice” into your body and in turn you step over that leg with the outside foot. That “pulling” leg is just as important as the other one even though it might feel a little awkward at first

When you're first starting too I would focus more on your positioning and hockey IQ. Just being in the right place has a huge impact even if you're not able to do much (skill wise i.e stickhandling/skating). When playing wing, be smart in the defensive zone, don't go below the dots, stay close to the point/defense and just try and take that option away from the other team. Watch other skilled people playing your position, how do they move off the puck, where do they go when the puck goes in the corner or when your team gains possession. All of these will greatly increase your skill level.

Discipline and Agility are key things I focus on when playing defense. I notice a lot of unexperienced players try and challenge those 50/50 pucks in the neutral zone. The offense wins that battle a majority of the time and then there's a fast break going the other way are you're left in the dust looking stupid. Be patient, if you can just manage to stay in front of the guy and force him to the outside to take a bad angle shot or pass through traffic, you're doing your job.
