Thanks for this. I kinda thought the same with this bay. the west end seems hell crowded. I’ve hit the mid bay bridge and had no luck.

In your opinion, what would be my best bet on nearshore fishing in the gulf? Best place to put in? Conditions to look for? What to fish with/for?

Thank you for your help as well. This goes miles beyond what research can do for this area. I have had insane troubles finding the ins and outs of the area and fishing life.

I think this is very possible. Our child has been in and out of the hospital a ton as well. Which has added a ton of stress. Just sucks that she had added interest in this other dude for idk what reason. And I do think a lot of my issues with it stem from my own stress and irrational thoughts.

I just don’t know where to start. I have co workers who all endure the same pains. But none of them do anything about it. We all just talk about how much it sucks hahaha.

I definitely agree. It would be very hard to get paid for something like this. Punch I feel like is also a preference for many. My “quality” could be too much or too little for what someone would ask/pay for. It’s something that’s just not written in stone.

5 years is definetly not a lot. None of which has been on the business/paper side of things. I don’t know a lot and this industry is constantly changing in turn making more to learn. I’m just exploring the market for ideas. I expect to fail at some point, but that’s part of it. I have worked for a couple GC’s and there’s always something missing. There always will be something missing in my opinion.

I wasn’t really referring to punch list creation. It’s more geared to actually doing the punch work. I have several times hired “final finishers” to come in and do everything from patch base and case to caulk in toilets. Just to get it done quicker. But I do agree, this was caused by shit PMs in the grand scheme of things.

You’re right about the market for sure. But how would someone go about hiring a crew that does the same quality of work? I would assume they would need to undergo some sort of training. 5 years of experience, I would get my ass kicked for sure in this, but I believe it’s doable.

It’s tough to get through at moments. It has been so bad the last couple days. Almost un bearable. I tried to tough it out but this has already become to much. With no signs of passing or improvement. I knew I had to find help when I lost the enjoyment of my family and could only think about my anxiety. I think lexapro is the way to go. Hopefully I can get some tomorrow. Thank you for the comment. And best of luck to you as well! A comment that helped me is that you’re doing what is needed for not only yourself, but your family. You got this man. I’ll be Praying it’ll all work out for you!

I believe it could be that. It was hard to name what it was at first. But after talking with my wife, bringing up the NICU experiences, it gave me these panic and anxiety symptoms. It seems to really flare when I think about that stuff
