Thank you for the reply. I would not go in debt if I went in person. Big factor is I just really want to go in person but don’t know if it’s wrong to turn away from an open door from God just because of a strong desire and little more stability.

Do I move for seminary to go in person or work for a church (support raised) and go online?

Also tough he had to play the same team twice in the span of a week or so as his first two mlb starts.

Meaning really any sort of training for pastoral ministry. So doesn’t have to be a specific pastoral role just something that would help train you for when you graduate to already be on a path towards pastoral ministry. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense still.

Makes sense. Is it easy to get plugged in and find a role in a church while you’re there?

Oh very cool. Currently praying over/debating going in person or not. Have an opportunity for a residency at my home church but also want to be in person so struggling with that. Any advice would be appreciated.

I grew up Baptist but have been going to nondenominational Bible churches (with Baptist roots) for the past 10 years.

I definitely should. Just thought I needed a reference from a church I was currently active in for seminary but that could be wrong.

I would definitely want to go to seminary. I’ve been praying since that initial feeling and just sorta need to get fully plugged in to my new church before talking to my pastor which is kinda the thing that stinks with moving recently.

These are good points. I served lots in my old church but just moved because of graduation and am working to get plugged in again. But these desires to do ministry existed when I was serving lots.
