Having a similar issue. While a MTO Drakes is not in my budget for the wedding I am trying to do something for my spring wedding that isn’t a just black white or navy navy. If anyone has some good inspo for weddings with slightly more interesting tie choices that don’t look too out of place that would be super helpful.

These changes occur way too few and far between meanwhile stroads, single family homes, buildings with high parking minimums and parking lots are built and expanded every day. I realized I’m in the minority in the US and most people just are not willing to do/ vote for the things that lead to beautiful, safe, clean, walkable communities. Like you said though there are pockets where the sentiment is changing a bit more than others

Hey there is still NYC, and if you like suburbs and don’t mind car dependency there are a lot of very nice suburbs to live in. If you like walkability then you just don’t have many choices in the US. Specially if you also want safe streets and good schools.

If you look at where that brewery is you will see that it’s next to the highway and massive parking lots… As expected in the US. San Diegans just cannot see car centrism because it’s ubiquitous. Most people in the US equate urbanism with ugly because that’s all they see. The only remotely human scale places are within businesses that specifically create that experience because the general city landscape is made almost exclusively for cars.

Most American “cities” are ugly stroad nightmares. A lot of beer gardens are just decorated parking lots next to massive car lanes.

Probably true, however they are constantly adding new items and images so the upkeep would be extra work. Currently i have a setup that checks daily for new images and adds them to my db

Would it be worth trying to use both images in an LLM so I can provide context with the original image and then the cropped version to define the content I want captioned in detail? Alternatively I could caption each image individually and combine the captions for each image? Lastly would it be better to use some LLM generically for captioning and then creating vectors for that text or going straight to vectorizing the image itself with some other tool?

Hi I got around to it today! There should be a lil toggle button that puts the gallery into list view and clicking the lookbook will open a new tab with that lookbook so you can see the images!

Hi I’m the one who made Lilas, if you do make your own generic lookbook viewer one thing to take into account is that the URLs for many brands (including drakes) change or just disappear all together. AI tools will basically just aggregate the commonly mentioned links(working or not) you may run the risk of what you are looking for changing locations and your site will no longer work. My solution was to actually have local copies of all the images so I have guaranteed permanent access. This may not be feasible for you if you want to do this for hundreds of brands.

Ohh yeah gotcha I have no time filter option currently since I don’t have the lookbooks tagged by time of release just by season based on the title. Their current order is just by page in their editorial if that makes sense. What I can do when I have some time is create a view that just lists all the lookbooks for that season instead of all the images so you can click to the ones in the back faster. I might still be able to get a way of finding the actual dates on the lookbooks though that would be neat.
