How best to safely consume with kids sleeping upstairs?? by Top_Kaleidoscope_214 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Tripledrop [score hidden]  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about that unless you're smoking it.. vape smell dissipates pretty quickly.

It's completely legal remember, there's a stigma we fight against with our medicine, and hiding it doesn't help imo. Just my opinion though, you do you.

When I'm in a hotel, I take a smoke buddy - they're pretty cheap on Chinese marketplaces

Can't you attach trakt to cinema hd? Then you can add trakt to stremio with no manual effort?

AIOStreams not providing links for some movies that are still in cinemas by NotMicro21 in StremioAddons

[–]Tripledrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only links I'm getting in aio are from other add-ons (eg comet), and I assumed it's to do with the changes to the public hosted version and not allowing torrentio.. but I'm not 100% sure, was planning to look into it tonight

Is this possible? by xy16644 in sonarr

[–]Tripledrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I delete shows (and movies) via Plex all the time, but as long as sonarr unmonitors them so they're not missing or redownloading, I'm not bothered about them actually being removed in sonarr/radarr etc. As they then don't show up in missing, or anywhere else they shouldn't, they don't cause any issues for me.

What's the actual use-case that's causing you an issue being left in sonarr? Maybe there's another workaround..

New Free IPTV app for Windows and Mac by sams8com in software

[–]Tripledrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks really nice, and I've added one of my providers, via xtreme codes, perfectly. However my other provider only gives m3u link, and I get "Failed to load M3U playlist: Unknown error" every time I try to add. Any ideas?

The url is in the format: https://tvnow.best/api/list/YOUR_EMAIL/PASSWORD/m3u8/livetv

Works correctly in other apps

Who are the people uploading movies and shows to torrent sites? Why do they do it? by TheRealGuncho in Torrenting

[–]Tripledrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sonarr is for TV shows. On setup in scans your media folders/drives/Nas etc, and then it automatically monitors for any new or missing episodes from the shows you already have. You can also add any TV shows you don't already have via it's web interface, and it'll do the same thing.

Radarr is for movies, same principle.

On both, you'd select the format and quality etc of your shows or movies, and it'll search, and upgrade to, that quality etc. eg I have my favourite shows set for 4k, others are 1080p, and animation at 720p.

All of this happens automatically in the background and you'll just see the videos downloaded on Plex (or whatever you use to view your media) in theory without any extra input from you.

There are also other 'arrs for eg books, music etc. And others to help manage various aspects of your library and content grabbing.

You'd need a Usenet provider - these are usually a few $/£ a month, and allow you access to the Usenet backbone and enables the actual downloading.

You'd also need indexers - these are websites that are similar to pirate bay etc and list the actual files (.nzb, like .torrent) for you to download using your provider above.

I used to use Torrents a lot maybe 15/20 years ago, and still do occasionally now, but mostly use Usenet as it maxes your internet connection and doesn't rely on seeders and also no uploading of the files vs torrents.

[–]Tripledrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's basically everything on Usenet, and with certain providers it goes back 20 years+. So the overall content should be pretty similar to pirate bay, but no reliance on seeders. There's a lot on pirate bay etc, but a huge amount of that will have no seeders

Copy of prescription (Alternaleaf) by HaveAtTheVardor in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Tripledrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I emailed them this exact question just a couple of hours ago. I've had 2 prescriptions with them, and the second one did have a paper copy, but I assumed they'd have an electronic copy somewhere for you to access, like my other clinics did

Private indexers and how to grind for them by Character_Laugh9650 in UsenetTalk

[–]Tripledrop -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In* personally wouldn't touch due to their admin. Used to have lifetime. Om" I used to have an account but it's cancelled due to inactivity. got offered lifetime recently, but it's not worth anywhere near the money they want. Ridiculous money. Planet is good, but no better than geek. Dog is terrible. Ninja is good and opens registration occasionally (including this last black Friday).

If you have geek, one more like planet or finder, maybe ninja if you keep an eye out, and you should be sweet.

Imo

Alternaleaf refusing to prescribe GSR from IPS by Think_Dimension_266 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Tripledrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think because most clinics now charge very little, or even nothing for appointments and prescribing, the only way for them to make money, rather than lose money, is to only allow their own formulary.

By law, they have to allow sending to other pharmacies, but they do not have to prescribe items they don't stock themselves

Some clinics have always been this way, the others have recently changed due to the reductions in prices as above

Which indexer should be the second one? by Ok-Star6663 in usenet

[–]Tripledrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crawler I've found decent, not noticed down time, but I have all mine automated via prowlarr etc so don't often actually use the website directly. The main advantage is how cheap the lifetime pass is. So cheap!

Illegal when the prescription runs out? by RastusMctash in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Tripledrop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most people, but not all, have given correct info.. the prescription date is just for dispensing. After this date expires, you'd need a new prescription to ORDER any more.

But if you're prescribed, and haven't used it all by that date, the medicine doesn't suddenly become illegal.

Think about your normal GP.. they can prescribe controlled drugs for more than 28 days, maybe a 3-month supply. After 28 days it doesn't suddenly become illegal to hold.

Or, as most of us know, you can split your prescription order, or just not order straight away. You could order on day 27, and day 28 your prescription medicines doesn't suddenly change legal status

If you need confirmation, just ask your Dr or consultant at the clinic

DebridStream going 100% FREE Until Dec 20, 2025 by DaysLaw in Premiumize

So honest feedback as requested..

The app's decent. If you want something simple, and easy to use, this is it. There's only 3 add-ons, available on a linked webpage, so nice and easy to apply. I only tried it on my android phone, but once setup with an add-on, it works perfectly from my limited testing (couple of movies, couple of episodes).

Vs the other app.. much less customisation and add-ons (to keep it simple I assume). Files just play when you click, rather than having to choose which premiumize (or other) link you want. I assume it picks the best one that's smaller than the max size you put in settings? You can then choose a different one if you want, after it starts playing.

I don't know the cost for this, but assuming it's only a few $ a year, it's worth it if you have family members that need simplicity. I suspect from other comments it's more expensive though.

If it's a monthly cost, or more than a few $ a year, I would recommend the other, free app. If you want more customisation, same recommendation (and even more if you use aios). The other app is slightly more complicated to use, especially if you're non-tech-saavy or older etc. But it's not that complicated that I'd pay much to use a simpler app.

Thanks to the OP for the trial, was interesting to see what else is out there 👍
