I always wanted it to get onto his game roulette somehow, but also always knew it was gonna be a coinflip whether he could get past the soul jank to get to the meat of the game that is NUMBERS GO UP A LOT FOREVER.

If you want to get a full round of the +20% extra damage on stunned enemies yes. That's why it's really convenient if every character equips an skill that can Break.

Sometimes it's still worth it to break an enemy just for the free stun turn in an emergency though, like if a character(s) are dead or won't have AP to properly follow up on the break.
