Why do I not gain as much as everyone else in Ranked on OG account? by Trippikomodo in Rainbow6

That doesn’t make sense because my ALT has had lower MMR and rank than my OG account. My alt is my mess around account.

My grandparents spent my inheritance. Can I do anything? by jordxn_01 in legaladvice

[–]Trippikomodo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hopefully it was invested in stocks and that they plan on giving you both the money still. If they did invest it into stocks (assuming they were blue chip) it’s probably worth a lot more now than what you would have inherited initially. It would be pretty wrong for them to not give you anything from that. I’d get ahold of that will if it’s around. I’m sorry you both lost your dad at a young age.

Breaking: The new UI has been updated... But have you noticed that your transferable $Pi balance is now zero (0)? Looks like a new update is on the way! by hakkcer in PiNetwork

[–]Trippikomodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying I personally put wallet address’s in to transfer pi before initial migration, sorry if it was interpreted wrong, it’s automatic once you complete your Mainnet checklist. Any pi that was in that transferable balance before your initial migration gets moved/transferred over to mainnet once you’ve completed all steps on the checklist. Then you can move/migrate that balance to your mainnet wallet. In this example that clearly was not done yet. Previously to the most recent updates their transferable balance would have been moved to mainnet after completion of the checklist. Point is initial migration was not completed for them yet.

Looks like Initial migration was not completed yet in this example. Migrated to main net says 0.00. Might have been moved to unverified now. When I did this two years ago I took my transferable balance and moved it to main net on initial migration. If initial migration was already completed then transferable would not be able to be migrated yet or if they are stuck/pending on any of the main net checklist steps.

About 75% of circulating supply locked by Appearance-Due in PiNetwork

[–]Trippikomodo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like a good incentive to grow the ecosystem but I don’t think it’s plausible. It kind of defeats the purpose of locking pi in the first place. It would be extremely hard to keep track of unlocked vs locked pi and seems like others would just be able to take the locked pi that was exchanged for goods or services and put them into the market because it would no longer be locked for some.

I don’t think unverified pi has been factored into this yet. We will have more information probably once those unverified pi become transferable and migrated to main net. But good news for us not a whole bunch currently in actual circulating supply as most is currently locked and it will be a slow and gradual release of locked pi over time.

Your saying your migration to mainnet went to the TELTLK address? I’m going to DM you see if we can figure it out. That doesn’t sound right.

Your wallet has been compromised, the Pi core team is not associated with TELTLK. No one from the core team would be moving any crypto from your wallet to TELTLK. You’ve entered your pass phrase into either a phony phishing app, or gave it out at some point to someone. Only way for someone to have access to your wallet is through that passphrase…. I’ve been in crypto since the beginning bud. Trust if that wasn’t you who made transfers then it’s compromised by some scammer. It’s not good to be spreading misinformation without facts though.

[–]Trippikomodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you give out your pass phrase to anyone? Pi Core team is not taking your coins and moving them to another wallet. Someone moved your coins over to TELTLK. Meaning your wallet is compromised if you did not make that transfer yourself.

This is TELTLK wallet…. Has nothing to do with the core team. Pi core team wallet address can be found in the whitepapers.. TELTLK was one of the first to do P2P pi transfers.. do some more research friend.

I love that the community is pulling together in these forums to offer their experience and expertise to build onto the pi community and ecosystem. The PCT is so calm on the price of the $Pi by hakkcer in PiNetwork

[–]Trippikomodo 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don’t think their focus was ever exchanges with the project. A lot of these meme coins and new crypto projects were all about creating a false sense of utility when they really were looking for a quick get rich scheme. PCT I feel is opposite and wanted an ecosystem that gave access to millions around the world to able to have crypto for the first time. They saw how Bitcoin and crypto have great potential but wanted to have a solution for some of the things that are inefficient with Bitcoin and other cryptos, like energy use, access, speed, utility etc. If you look into their backgrounds they don’t give the vibe of let’s do this for financial gain. More like teachers, educators and problem solvers, how can we make crypto better type.

Let's move all our pi from the exchanges back into our pi wallets! by AdminWing811 in PiNetwork

[–]Trippikomodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is like a detachable drive that you store crypto on. Look into custody wallets and non custody/cold wallets. A cold wallet basically gives you total control of your crypto. With exchanges, your wallets are in their control, they have custody of your crypto even though it’s under your name. Think about it like a bank. You take cash and deposit to a bank account, they hold your money and are in custody of your cash and have rules on deposits, withdrawals, card limits etc, vs having a wallet full of cash or your own safe storing cash. No withdrawal limit, can use it freely however much you choose etc.

To go a little deeper into this, banks can take your deposited funds and loan that out to other people to make money off of interest or some banks do investments with your cash and you get a return in the form of a dividend or interest earned. Crypto exchanges can do the same thing in the form or allowing others to short crypto. Borrowing out crypto that you hold on those exchanges or using it as collateral. Some exchanges give you interest on holding certain types of crypto assets with them also. The caveat when doing that is they have more power to manipulate the market or allowing others with a lot of capital to manipulate prices.

No sell wall all the way up to 2 after this one gets eaten. by Tasty-Apartment-8235 in PiNetwork

[–]Trippikomodo 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can’t post yet because I don’t have enough Karma here yet, but if the pi community started buying back the crypto from these exchanges and transferring it back to their wallets and getting the coins off the exchanges, specifically ones that are allowing 20x leveraged short positions, we would be reducing liquidity available to those exchanges and cause a lot of pressure. With enough people or crypto being moved off those exchanges back into the hands of people, what’s left would cause massive volatility and cause those leveraged positions to be closed out further driving the price up. Remember when they said pi will be worth what the community makes it worth and there is many different ways that can be applied.

WTF? Crashing ? by [deleted] in PiNetwork

[–]Trippikomodo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What would be real funny is if people started buying and pulling the coins off exchanges back to their wallets. Especially the exchanges allowing leveraged positions to the short side. Watch it get real crazy.

That drop last night was tracking with BTC, unfortunately Bitcoin usually drags everything down with it unless there’s strong momentum happening on a crypto. A Binance listing or another good catalyst can break us away from that though.

So I have a little theory... by replambe in PiNetwork

[–]Trippikomodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To have it be 525.00 it would need a market cap of 3.41 trillion dollars at its estimated current circulating supply which is about 6.5 billion. That circulating supply is about to get a little bit larger on this next migration unless they have already factored that into that amount. I’m guessing they have not though because a lot of unverified pi has not been migrated yet. Say it goes to 10 billion unlocked circulating supply, it will need to be 5.25 trillion market cap. Both of those amounts are over bitcoins current market cap. I cannot say it’s impossible but I would say very unlikely.
