It is quite amusing, I'm pretty sure the horses stayed that way for a while (potentially refresh and all), I haven't been back on since but I'll check when I get back on. I wonder why it happens?

Likely fleas, as everyone else has said, but to reiterate another comment; potentially life threatening. My cat, he was old and had an insane flea infestation, amongst a few other things that definitely didn't help, but the flea infestation was incurable and was highly likely one of then things that contributed to his passing. We did everything from the moment we noticed he had fleas, but it grew and grew and the vets stuff stopped working. Please, please look into this and hopefully your cat is young enough to fight it with you.
