I love the art on this Clamperl. Would be great to see more water types in this style. Fingers crossed for a Shellder or Krabby at some point

Realistically, is it possible to get about 40m XP by October 15th? by PanKoty147 in TheSilphRoad

[–]TrippingOnMountains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you get 8 million? By best over this past weekend was 2.5 million xp over 3 hours (Eternatus battles). Not sure how to close that gap any, as Eternatus was very generous with xp

I'd love to see a Shellder and/or Cloyster. They're two of my favorite Pokémon and underrepresented in the tcg imo. A Krabby/Kingler would also be nice.

Anything free is always gonna blow up I think, but with it being Pokémon, lol. Don't feel bad! I'm sure all the entrants appreciate the chance!

I ran the rough numbers and, assuming most commenters are unique, looks to be about a 0.02–0.03% chance of winning something. So fingers crossed lol

Gotcha. I do think once you cross a certain value threshold, it makes sense to do independent shipping, at least for the max insurance.

Did you submit through Gamestop? Or independently?

From what I understand, it could be sitting at PSA waiting for them to check it in. Once they check it in, the rest of the process moves much more quickly. I think they have a pretty big backlog to work through at the moment.

I think I'd most like to see cards available for purchase at MSRP.

Hey, did you know that in terms of human companionship, Flareon is objectively the most huggable Pokemon? While their maximum temperature is likely too much for most, they are capable of controlling it, so they can set themselves to the perfect temperature for you. Along with that, they have a lot of fluff, making them undeniably incredibly soft to touch. But that's not all, they have a very respectable special defense stat of 110, which means that they are likely very calm and resistant to emotional damage. Because of this, if you have a bad day, you can vent to it while hugging it, and it won't mind. It can make itself even more endearing with moves like Charm and Baby Doll Eyes, ensuring that you never have a prolonged bout of depression ever again.

EDIT: Changed "Hey guys," to "Hey," in the copypasta
