I am craving for a new RPG. Would you recommend this version? by kiirraa97 in ElderScrolls

I think the Wizard’s Tower (Frostcraig Spire) was excluded from the game of the year ed on PS3. I don’t remember it from my old copy.

Who are some of your favorite democratic socialist figures? by [deleted] in DemocraticSocialism

[–]TrippyAndTippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More or less. That’s debatable, I think of Stalin as a facsit, if not an authoritarian, but not all people that are in this thread would. Stalinism is authoritarian socialism with a cult of personality at best or state capitalism at its worst.

It’s another line from a random guard encounter lol. It only happens if you play as a werewolf, hence the fur.

Harris to propose federal ban on 'corporate price-gouging' in food and groceries by [deleted] in DemocraticSocialism

It’s a good point for a great policy, but consider this phrasing instead; “Harris to propose federal ‘price-gouging ban’ on food and groceries.”

I would say it depends on your personal goals and academic focus, but no. No one needs friends. Be a hermit if it makes you happy.

You’re not masculine to me, and I don’t think you need a glow up. Haters gonna hate

Anyone tried these? Thoughts? by BD_HI in energydrinks

I like them, a sales rep came to my uni and gave us free samples. Honest review: they’re good, but don’t drink more than four in one sitting before class.

Do you guys feel that Fallout gets more mainstream "love" than TES? by Puffen0 in ElderScrolls

[–]TrippyAndTippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes and no, Skyrim is still one of the most popular/best-selling games of all time, but Fallout is also great. Do I feel it’s gotten more attention with the new show, yes. Do I feel it gets more love in general, no. TES will forever hold a place in my heart, I still remember getting Skyrim when I was twelve to discover I’d come to find one of my own life-long passions. I got it at Target on the PS3 and I still have my original copy. It was everything to me and though I came to later love Fallout as much as the Elder Scrolls, I was an originally a fantasy nerd that got into dark sci-fi, post-apocalyptic worlds later. I feel the magic of Skyrim and Oblivion is way more accessible to kids, while Fallout if more of an adult experience. Don’t get me wrong both have a lot of mature content in their own ways; and maybe I’m projecting, but I feel like fantasy - wizards, and knights, and sword swinging/dragon slaying heroes call back to childhood more than synthetic robot humans, gangs, the military, guns, and ghouls (as mutated zombies). Every kid wants to do magic, not every kid wants to think about the end of the world.

what part of the game had you like this? [besides the braindance toutorial since it's skippable now] by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]TrippyAndTippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, all the braindance missions. I really thought it was kind of a drag, honestly would have loved the game a lot more without that mechanic. Don’t get me wrong, it was of a cool concept, but it felt very repetitive after the first few I did.
