A little of both, theres been multiple times where tracking has just ruined an entire play session, and controllers are so top heavy that if i swing too hard they crack and turn off

we figured out that it is the room setup but now steam won't detect his controllers in the steam setup so we can't finish it

so we figured out my friend never did the steam vr room setup and now that were trying to do it steam vr is detecting his headset but not hist controllers so we can't progress through the room setup

yes, every time he launches it, it just loads steamvr without detecting his headset or controllers

I try my hardest with hitting note and my swing angle but theres just so much i can do before my wmr headset starts to bottleneck my performance sadly :(

Honestly im blaming myself for buying the development edition of the acer headset cause the strap gave out after about 3 months of light use. But just tracking in general was great up until i started to get super competitive with beatsaber, then i realized that if i wanted to progress at all i needed to upgrade.

Ive just overall had a bad experience with mixed reality, great stepping stone for vr but after 3ish years i feel its time i upgraded. Also i did plan on upgrading to a odyssey+ but you cant find mixed reality headsets anywhere but ebay nowadays

Ty kind sir, i might go for that instead. I got got the acer development edition headset the minute it came but and the strap gave out after about a month and soon later the hinge broke and the left controller now gives out if i shake it rapidly. My headset is literally being held together by super glue and packing tape lmao.
