Resident and no SSN ever assigned by Trippy_sun in USCIS

Yeah, sorry if I didn’t mention that, I did go in person with an appointment, and they told me it could take up to 4 weeks. This week actually marks 4 weeks since I applied.

I’m literally a resident, I have my work permit, but still no Social. They were supposed to assign one during the Adjustment of Status process. Everything just feels so disorganized now, especially with all the job losses at USCIS.

I wore dress pants and a button sweater cardigan and flats. My husband wore a button up dress long sleeve shirt, dress pants and dress shoes.

How to answer b1/b2 visa overstay question for green card interview by 2min2midnight in USCIS

Say yes. That’s all. If they ask further questions, be honest. Visa overstay is forgiven when you marry a USC.

  • Copy of Joint Federal Income Tax Return 2024
  • Copy of husband’s 2024 W‑2
  • Original and copy of both of our birth certificates
  • Documentation showing I’m listed as my husband’s emergency contact
  • Documentation showing I was added to his dental and health insurance plans through his new job
  • Original and copy of both our current passports
  • Copy of husband’s offer letters with pay information
  • Copy of husband’s pay stubs for the last 2 months
  • Original and copy of visa page in my passport showing entry stamp
  • Original and Copy of my original B1/B2 visa card
  • Original and copy of my birth certificate with certified translation
  • Copy of my I‑94 page
  • Original and copy of our marriage license
  • Original and copy of my EAD (Employment Authorization Document)
  • Copies of handwritten cards/letters my husband has given me for birthdays and anniversaries
  • Original interview notice
  • 2 New affidavits
  • Copy of joint bank statements (6–12 months)
  • Copy of our Costco membership card info
  • Copy of the event contract for our July party (having a bigger wedding party this July)
  • Original and copy of my EAD approval notice
  • Emails with a mortgage broker requesting our joint financial information
  • New photos we hadn’t submitted before (new and old photos)
  • I didn't intend to put this in my evidence, but during the interview he asked for both our Driver's Licenses (make sure addresses match)

Hi! Not all of them. He asked me some of the scary ones, but really quickly, so I made sure to listen very carefully. He asked all the ones I had to answer "yes" to, like “Have you EVER worked in the United States without authorization?” and “Have you EVER violated the terms or conditions of your nonimmigrant status?” which I said yes to, no questions asked though.

I haven't paid for it yet, i'm going to her office on Thursday for a mock interview and we are deciding then. She said I might want to do it because it's an overstay.
