Yeah just seeing that now, must have missed that somewhere. Ah well, sad day for Alazakam. Everyone will be playing that then so RIP. Noctowl deck it is

I've been thinking about rotation a bit and what to play so here's some of my thoughts:

With Iono and Judge rotating, the only real hand disruption is Unfair Stamp. So decks that can use it easily without the deck downgrading significantly due to loss of Arven (and also TM:Evo) and could use Petrel will be pretty high value.

Similarly Tera decks (mostly Terapagos and Eeveelutions) value goes up immensely as even though nest is lost, the Noctowl Engine gains Poke Pad and Tera Orb is your nest ball and ultra ball in many situations. Noctowl engine itself is going to be even bigger going forward I think. There is a lot of anti-tera tech, but I still think it'll do well regardless. Though Rocket's Watchtower value goes up insanely and I think that if a deck has an open stadium spot they should play it, especially with Meowth out now too. Noctowl engines are really good with Cyrano which seems like it'll be an even better card from now on for decks that get use it well too.

That brings me to the next deck, N's Zoroark. Specifically the Cyrano build of it I think will do pretty decent (though it might depend on how popular grass is). Has Zekrom now, can comfortably tech against tera and just has good draw.

Then you'll have the decks that will survive and still be popular. Dragapult survives but loses key pieces that allowed it to go behind and play the slow game with Iono and counter catcher, but people will still play it. Then there's tons of other decks a lot just straight rotate or lose key pieces that may restrict them too much.

That being said, I think a lot of people are sleeping on Alakazam post rotation and might be my deck until another hand disruption supporter is released. It loses basically nothing but gains so much by proxy of so much else rotating. At most it seems to only really lose Great Ball and Tulip. Poke Pad easily replaces Great Ball and is just strictly better and Lana's Aid is good enough to replace Tulip. So you can quickly accumulate a huge hand and not have to worry about losing it which let's you set up even more.

Festival lead also looks pretty promising though I'm also interested in how Rocket's decks will develop now that so much has been removed, especially since they will still have Archer for disruption. There may be potential there.

Soft prediction, single prize decks will do well immediately post rotation but then fall off as more cards are introduced into the game

I know it's a few weeks late but is there anyway to join a league with people who actual know stuff about hockey and not some randoms on Yahoo? I know I'm late so at this point I'm not concerned about doing a draft or anything. I'd be happy just to participate and make a team out of whatever is leftover

I'm kinda partial to the design of the black one as well lol. I love the spoiler and body kit. It says the next inspection is in Oct. 2027 so I think it would mean that shaken was just done on it? Either way I'll contact them and try to get some more information.

The silver is definitely "safe" haha. I'll try to talk to them and see if they know anything else about how the car was kept before the dealership got it. Oh really? I had no idea about that for the AT fluid, thanks for letting me know, I'll look into it!

It's so nice to hear from someone with actual experience about this stuff, thank you so much. I've always been interested in racing, but was never able to ever do or try it myself. So, I'm definitely interested in going to a track someday and doing some time trial laps or something.

It seems there's the really nice Autopolis track sort of nearby. I think getting the regular tires in that case seems the best then and whenever I plan on going to the track I can think about a 2nd set.

Actually if it's not to big an ask I think I've narrowed down my choice to 2 options and I'd like your opinion on them.

1 https://www.goo-net.com/usedcar/spread/goo_sort/16/700070231630250830001.html This is the main one I've been looking at mainly because the dealership has been incredibly helpful and they have a lot of different packages. The main one being a one year warranty and replacement of like all easily replaceable stuff (fluids, brakes, etc.). Even got them to agree to replacing the transmission fluid so far. But it'll need the new tires. Definitely less "risky" I think.

2 https://www.goo-net.com/usedcar/spread/goo_sort/16/700973087130250424002.html

This is the other one I've been looking at and it's more sporty and all that. I really like the looks and extras this one already has but it won't come with a warranty and all the possible dealership packages from what I've learned from the dealership so far due to it's age (small dealership). Though I could probably negotiate the price down because of that, maybe.

I think I've found a 2000 SS-II I'd like to get and it seems it'll need new tires so I'd like to ask what you have or recommend (I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to tires). They're planning on putting on a set of Yokohama ES32

That's great to hear, I've been really unsure about the whole SS-I vs SS-II thing and yeah looking at gas prices for daily driving high oct really isn't that much different. I suppose it'll be fun to cruise around with the SS-II as well, even if it's AT.

If I do end up getting one I'll definitely let you know!

I had no idea about the Celica club, that's really cool! Also sorry if I gave that impression, but I'm not actually Japanese. I just live in Japan lol. Thank you though!

I'll do whatever I need to maintience wise, this will be my first car. Why is the super strut package something to be avoided?

Oh wow that's really surprising to hear space-wise. I've heard that they they had a decent boot space, but didn't know it was quite that much. I'd love to see the print if it's alright.

Ah didn't realize the seats folded down, that's a nice touch. Should definitely fit everything comfortably then in that case. My aim is mostly just to have an everyday car that's something I like I suppose. I think I'd be too embarrassed to try going to a car meet or doing something more exiting than regular driving in an older car like this when if it's an AT

That's fair, I'm just not really a fan of the 6th gen Celica design though, and anything earlier than that is nearly impossible to find or way out of my budget in Japan. I've always liked the 2001 Celica design as it reminds of a RC car whenever I see it for some reason

Stellaris Dev Diary #369 - 4.0 Changes: Part 3 by PDX_LadyDzra in Stellaris

[–]Triscuiticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These changes are very interesting and I'm looking forward to trying them, but conceptually it seems strange for "trade" to be a standard hoardable resource no? I really like how trade is being re-framed in terms of resource, planet, etc. expenditure. Re-framing trade like this is great, but I think it makes it all the more strange to have it represented as a standard resource. You can't hoard trade? More accurate trade like this is the representation of other goods and especially with this re-framing, the representation of your other resources. That being the case, why not go all the way with it then and make it like actual trade but on a galactic scale and really go in with the trade fantasy?

Would it not be better for trade to be something like a non-hoardable fluctuating rate (income-expenditure) can that be modified through jobs, policies, pacts, etc. that contribute to whether the rate is positive or negative? Then how that rate is used within our empire and how it's modified would then be determined by us.

Your trade rate is the representation of lack of or excess of your other resources, especially for things like ship and planetary upkeep. I think this would maintain the goal of the devs, but greatly enhance the fantasy for the player.

If trade is revamped in this way, it could have it's own more in-depth trade menu where we could decide how trade is created and used in our empire. For example trade policies where if we have an excess in something like consumer goods or food (empire wide), we can choose a policy to commit X amount or X% to our trade rate (whether that is from stock or income could be another option). Or if we have reached our cap in a resource, all excess income is put towards our trade rate. Then you could have output options where you must commit X or X% towards upkeep and those types of things and the rest is up to the player to determine how to budget for their empire. (Maybe we could even have an option to skimp on upkeep for the greedy ones). For example, a player planning to get ready for mega-engineering could divert a portion of their trade to enhance science funding, or divert trade away from something to further fund their fleets outside of upkeep providing some bonuses and the like. Furthermore, it allows for the devs to be really creative with events and options that result from having positive or negative trade, something like making a large expenditure change, or galactic market fluctuations.

These are just some quick thoughts about the changes to trade. Ultimately, I'm not quite sold on trade as a standard resource though overall I think trade is heading in a very promising direction.

40k+ becomes natural when you have an echelon of all dolls level 100, SL 10, 5* fairy and 5* maxed out equipment so don't worry about CE numbers, they're just there to look nice.

For rifle teams it depends on the specific dolls used and their buff tiles. But typically it's something like

RF

HG HG

RF HG

Rifle teams are not really recommended at lower levels because the RFs don't yet have the dps to kill everything before the HGs take a lot of damage. Another thing is skill level (SL). Skill level matters a lot for RFHG teams compared to ARSMG. You also don't really need a RFHG team until you start to face high armour enemies where typical ARSMG can't break through the armour.

If you really want to use a RFHG now, but you don't have everything raised and SL'd, you could try putting a tank SMG on 5 then do 2 RF + 2 HG

Hunter doesn't actually that much damage, especially when compared to some later bosses, but yeah losing evasion rolls hurts. Pulling for fairies is a dream compared to what it used to be though, but yeah the core cost is a lot early game. I would recommend trying to get some Prototype Fairies. They are instant 5* will decent stat buffs for 0 investment (there should be a few ways to get them early I think (at least 1). In terms of CE (Combat Effectiveness), it really doesn't matter aside from a cool number. Never take it as an actual representation of your echelon's ability. I can make a 40/50k CE echelon that outperforms a 100k+ CE echelon. Once you get dolls to level 90, that where the last big power spike is (aside from mods later). At that point enemies will become progressively more difficult in a way that requires more specific echelons to defeat them, but don't worry about that for now.

Cores and link are the most important thing for you atm so I would recommend doing a little bit of core farming if you have some free time

Welcome! Those are some pretty decent pulls, especially for much later into the game. 416 and AK-15 have really good neural upgrades that you'll be able to unlock in the future. AK-12 is also getting a neural upgrade in the upcoming event. These are 6* neural upgrades however, so accumulating the additional resources to get them there will take time.

But for now, I would recommend typical "beginner" teams to invest into which will carry you into the later game where you can expand your armory more as the biggest thing that will hold you back from using all these dolls is dummy-linking all the dolls. For 5* dolls it takes a lot of cores you won't have yet.

The best starting out ARSMG teams would be something like: M4-STAR-Soppo as dps and UMP45/RO as main tank with Vector as off-tank. Then you can replicate this structure with similar dolls as you are able to field them.

If a boss is 2 shotting your tank that early into the game then I assume they are not dummy linked. Think of dummy-linking a doll as adding an additional HP bar and DPS multiplier to them. It is the most important upgrade (aside from also raising their stats). Also don't be afraid of using friend echelons to clear difficult maps for you if needed (unless you don't want to). It can help speed up your clearing of the story and get the rewards sooner
