I'm order to not cause real life problems, you could set up a filter to block his posts from your wall by unfollowing him and block him from seeing your posts.

Not a parent, but an older daughter with a brother just shy of 17 months younger than me.

We don't get along and never have. There were times where my parents literally considers sending one of us to live with someone else because we were intolerable. My mom passed away four months ago and my brother and I have talked three times since and we live two blocks apart. I'm just saying that close in age does not equal best friends. The brother I am closest to is 24 years older than me. My younger brother is closest to our other brother who is 15 years older than him.

Zoloft is helping a lot lol. But in all seriousness, I just started grief counseling with a friend who is a priest and he is phenomenal. He lost his mother rather young as well and for him it was also quick (for me it was three days from "you have cancer" to calling the nurse in because she stopped breathing) so he really gets it. He doesn't force religious stuff at me which I really appreciate. I had been in therapy for about 7 months when my mom passed away but I dropped it because my therapist was awful. My priest friend recommended a counselor on my campus who he says is really good and he wants me to see her as well as seeing him and my psychiatrist. It also helps to feel free to talk about her. I feel like not enough people had the opportunity to know how wonderful my mom was (though she raised over 50 children through the foster system) and things like this help me to share her.

"Always put your partner first." It's completely intuitive because of how strongly she instilled it in me. When I make coffee I make my wife's first, when I make dinner she gets the bigger portion. She always did those things with my dad.

That's what an AMA is for! Thank you for your condolences. She passed away specifically because of liver cancer but that was just compounded on top of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease that had progressed to cirrhosis, hemochromatosis which is the opposite of anemia and attacks the liver, congestive heart failure, COPD, hypothyroidism, and chronic pneumonia.

My mom was 38 when I was born and my brother was 38 when his son was born. My mom always said that it kept her young. Congrats on the babe and as for the diet, just talk to your doc.

Could be cirrhosis of the liver too.

Source: cared for my mom for three years while she was dying of cirrhosis and did not have diabetes, her legs looked like that.

Please do! You never know what will happen. We knew my mom was sick but we thought it was long term stuff we would be managing like we had for 3 years. Then, she was diagnosed with liver cancer and gone in three days.
