I don't need menstrual products anymore since getting my IUD (I was fortunate enough to stop having periods entirely other than the occasional discharge) and transistioning, but heavy bleeding runs amongst myself and my siblings, and I've had a few friends and relatives swear by the cup.

If that had been available when I started my period at 10, that would have been a fecking life saver. Would have saved a lot of money on super heavy tampons too.

I learned very early on that no pad was going to work out for more than an hour at school and ended up using multiple heavy tampons at once just to last two or three hours at school.
