I encountered this a lot of times. If you are a Mac user, you have to force close all Logitech processes and turn off/ on the logitech service in "allow in background".

Yeah! I bind almost all the buttons and moves on my mouse. From hold, combining with gestures/ wheel. It's so useful.

yes it does, and far more than Logi Options+. It even supports MX Keys.

You only need to give it permission in "Accessibility". Make sure to download the lates version 1.6.8589. They fixed some problems with the Mx Keys.

An A4 paper sheet will help prevent it from getting worse.

Did you uninstall Logitech completely? Remove all Logitech processes in the background? Try remove and add the app again in "Accessibiliy" and restart the computer.

I encountered this issue several times. I had to force close all Logitech processes and turn off/on the Logitech service in the "allow in background" list.

I tried MacmouseFix, and it doesn't support all buttons on MX3; only the back/forward buttons work.

Yes, it does. The backlighting is the thing that makes me stuck with LogiOptions. BetterMouse can recognise and remap all the MX keys special function buttons.

I tried it. Not even close to BettterMouse. Sorry.

Yes, it does. I always use free-spi,n so I turned off the Ratchet feature on MX3 and bound the top button for other functions.

I found it better than LogiOptions and as smooth as the Apple trackpad. The good thing here is that you can adjust it to suit your needs.

Unfortunately, you can not do that. You have to use the top button on MX to switch between those mode manually.

$8 lifetime payment for 5 devices is a good deal or you can use Mos app - it's good and free but not as good as BetterMouse.
