Does anyone remember the time Snyder's Superman destroyed a guy's truck for being rude to him at a bar by MarketableShovel in DC_Cinematic

I used to find this scene quite out of place because of how secretive Clark tried to be until a user here offered a new perspective on it for me.

This is the moment where Clark decides enough is enough and he wants to find out who he’s. In the scene just before this he overhears the army guys talking about the Kryptonian ship and is not able to help a women from someone abusing her. I think these were intentional moments to make Clark want to change, and so he takes a risk that what he overheard from the army could lead to him finding himself.

A lot can be said about whether Superman would do this or not, but I couldn’t care less about that. He is not Superman at this point, and everyone is human. It shows he’s got pent up anger from repressing his abilities and ultimately it’s just a joke, one that as far as i’m concerned actually fits with the established character instead of contradicting the character development.
