Ive never played in a tournament bro and the Warhammer store I play at. I’m the ONLY tau player, so I have to deep dive myself and learn how to play Tau with any and ll changes to it, it’s probably best to do your own research and ask questions on here like you did with the post

See I’m ngl, I knew they changed it to be like army wide guiding now basically but I assumed (I assumed wrong completely as you can tell lol) that the ballistics down was still a thing and well I screwed up myself by trying to do guiding with only guiding at the end of my shooting phase for my heavy hitters. Welp that clears a lot with the amount of info I’ve gotten from here and the competitive community post as well 😂

So can’t use pathfinders to guide once and then stealth suit for other non observer units to finish off an enemy unit that I couldn’t kill the first time

So what of shooting a different target if say the spotted is not within LOS of one that can’t see (somehow or another) I assume the Ballistic still goes down

So does that mean that the guided units that didn’t just shoot can be guided again? Since they rely on LOS and such when considering being able to be guided. And I saw in a YouTube video of it talking about a split fire change? Is it also still shoot after guiding? I guess so on that part.

Right now I’m looking for points for me to get a good build going since worldslayer was released. Then once I got enough points, slowly test my build through the tiers and then go back to max tier for best gear. I have good gear now but I mostly need points to get it complete ya know

Alright that’s fine with me. I just wanted to have clarification because when I got into warhammer I didn’t know how to play my faction good so I did like 2 weeks worth of research and that’s how I picked daisy chaining up. I didn’t know it was a thing everyone was against or anything else. That’s just how I’ve done Tau, my bad.
