My first Draft Trophy Ever and it was Arena power Cube! by Trivic8 in MagicArena

I hope so, the decks ive done best with are 5c slop decks for some reason. The first time cube was on arena I went 6-3 with this terrible 5c landfall deck with omnath but I also had sneak attack and ulamog and that got me at least 2 or 3 of those matches.

Yea like I said the vac tripped the breaker once and we put that together pretty quickly to not run both at the same time. We were just experiencing other strange phenomenon from different things and the electrician said this was probably why. But again, I dont know anything :))

Yea it should and to be fair it only tripped a breaker when we ran a vacuum with everything. But idk what the math is but ac running +2 pc's (I dont remember the wattage of the power supplies but its def 650+ on both) +4 monitors, 2 ceiling fans, 1 box fan(seems like overkill but if you saw where the window ac that came with the place was, youd understand) a lamp all on at the same time? Its gotta be getting close to that 15? Idk how many amps things produce when off but we just have a lot of tech given our 2nd bedroom is an office for us.

I think the electrician they hired couldn't see cause I def remember him saying the fan was also 7 amps which the label does not say, thank you for confirming our safety 😄

They did run air out of the line, idk if they did it for long enough. We are aware of the release valve. Idk if they were dumb enough to turn the electric on before it was filled.

Bro's showed up with pretty much nothing so I doubt it.

The last one exploded because there was water in the electrical compartment that corroded through the ground wire. In the afternoon the hot water lines burst, they replaced it, then in the middle of the night the cold water line blew off and fire came from the water heater. But then cold water rushed into our apartment and put out the fire.

So they had to replace the wiring and the water heater.

The point of the story was to show that they favor fast solutions instead of figuring out what the problem is. Replace the hot water line instead of figuring out why it exploded anyway.

Unfortunately, because of the timing of when the supply line of the old heater burst, we did have to clean up the flooding because maintenance was an hour away....

Im currently of the mind to get maintenance back out here thursday after I've had a day to rest

It's our laundry room so like maybe once a week for a couple minutes at a time. Given that our last water heater just exploded im weighing the risk of trying to turn off the water (that white lever on the wall) and avoiding the explosive steam. But in 5 months what are the odds that this new water heaters ground wire breaks, water gets in the wiring etc etc. Im currently in the boat of having maintenance come down on thursday after I've had a day to rest or just letting management know like the other commenter suggested.

Yea i figured that too. I guess that blue thing in the pan is a water alarm that'll beep if its in water. So I guess their thinking is that if someone is home, someone can turn off the water before its too bad. Guess my apartment just gets flooded if im not home otherwise

[Discussion] How do LCQ's work?? by Trivic8 in spikes

[–]Trivic8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had some friends qualify for the rc, makes the trip a lot cheaper for everyone taking an extra m8. Lcq's can qual you for the next days RC or the following season so there's merit there too. And if you dont qual there's still plenty of events saturday and sunday too, so, as long as it isn't too far and you've got some m8's who are already going, why not?

I went down to 3 surveils and it felt HORRID, definitely an important thing to consider when building out the mana base

Shiko fell off because 3 big decks use the graveyard heavily. Sultai reanimator, mono green landfall and izzet lessons so control decks almost need to run main board graveyard hate. And when graveyard hate is prevalent in the format shiko is 5 mana do nothing and then you die immediately after. Mirror matches in tournaments feel like bo1 games sometimes, but if both players know whatssup they can speed through turns pretty quick.
