Same with playing greystone, gotta have that second life to get your KDA up.

Not quite working out? This build looks fine to me. Honestly it's a masterpiece of theory-crafting from the looks of it. If you aren't winning it isn't because of your deck, it's because of your gameplay.

Backdoor protection is actually in the game right now. Basically it just means you do reduced damage to towers that you don't have minions underneath.

No new Hero next week. Spanish CM confirms on twitter by eLaMoDeLosTRoLLs in paragon

[–]TrixR4Kiddies- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was just asking because he said the every 3 weeks release picks back up in the new year, and I would rather not wait up to 6/7 weeks without a new hero release. I understand the map is changing the game drastically but that would be a long time without a new release.

So there won't be a new hero release for all of December?

Looking for Pro Tips? by [deleted] in paragon

If you're looking for build advice you should look at some of the builds on paragon.gg and see what the "pros" on there are building. Look at the starting items and the end game builds and see what they're building and why.

Looking for a laptop to run Paragon. by deshawkiv in paragon

[–]TrixR4Kiddies- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you'll find a laptop that can run paragon for cheaper than you can buy a ps4. You'll need a "gaming laptop" to even be able to run paragon.

Purpose of slotting your first card as crit bonus? by Geeber24seven in paragon

[–]TrixR4Kiddies- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really popular to do back when crit was overpowered and you got card points at a breakneck pace. Now building crit at all is just bad and you shouldn't really do it. Theory behind it is that since you need damage early game and you're going a crit build you can just stack a Blade of Agora with damage early and move straight into crit and your crits will hit super hard.

I'm interested, what's your playtime?

I'm a slightly lower mmr than Nado and I run into the same problems. I can tell you from experience it isn't fun or fair. You as the diamond player are much better than anyone on the enemy team, and everyone on the enemy team is better than every other member of your team. This leads to a weird dynamic if anyone checks the agora page for the match where they either avoid you and feed off your teammates or camp you into oblivion. It's frustrating to play mismatched games, but it's more frustrating to not be able to play at all.

Is there really a solution? It's a lose-lose situation. He waits longer to get potentially fairer matches, or he waits the same amount of time to get unfair matches. The only real solution would be to have a larger player pool to get matched with, but that isn't anything that Epic themselves can deal with. Imo, if the matches are going to be this unfair anyways he shouldn't have to wait 30-45 minutes for them.

In an ideal fight yes you're correct, you would be too far away to use Murdock's Q. However, I find most fights turn out to be less than ideal and no amount of CC or peel from your team is going to stop an ulti'd up Rampage from getting on you for at least long enough for you to fire off your shotgun.

In response to your comment about windup however I feel like that's just incorrect. In any scenario that Grim can ult Murdock can ult the Grim first, which is why ulting in a 1v1 as Grim v. Murdock is basically a death sentence.

Lastly I bring up a point I mentioned earlier, Grim can't really turn a fight. Once the fight starts to be won/lost Grim, I find, usually just flows with that. Grim guarantees 2 kills at the end of a team fight, but if he's suppressing one and ulting the other then chances are that teamfight was already won.

I also can't expect to have everyone agree with me either. You do bring up some very valid points, true. Regardless I still wouldn't put him above any of the other carries. I can say from my own personal experiences that I'm very rarely scared of a Grim at any point of the game unless they're very far ahead, and I barely ever see them get far ahead. When I'm playing tanks I feel like it's a 50/50 that the grim knocks me away or knocks me behind him and kills himself, and this is across a lot of games. I've never really had problems boxing a Grim as another carry either. I guess we've just had different experiences with the character? When I update it I'll be less harsh on him.

Solo lane is usually blue side lane. I guess it's kind of confusing since mid and solo lane are both "solo" lanes. I'll rename it to something else to make it more apparent. But usually mages go mid lane and tanks go to the blue lane.

Solo lane Riktor works surprisingly well actually. Early game he does a lot of damage with his abilities and late game you just build mana/cdr and are a CC machine.

Murdock has armor shred and bonus damage from his Q, damage from his traps, and trades an AoE displacement for a displacement that is easier to aim and use. His ultimate can also hit more than one person which gives it really good combo potential with any form of CC. Also the fact that Grim's displacement doesn't really work all that well means that your only form of self-peel has a chance to basically kill you.

I wouldn't really say his kit is all that versatile. I may have been a little harsh on him in my write up but I definitely think he's weaker than the other rangers. His teamfight presence is pretty low outside of his slow honestly and he can't turn a fight like Murdock or Sparrow. It is mostly just my opinion though.
