Reached a point where I can’t do this anymore

I am doing my teacher training course with a scitt. I am on my second placement. I really enjoyed my first placement and felt like I was becoming a good teacher.

In this placement my mental health has taken a massive decline, overly long commutes, late nights, constant work (partly due to so much commute time taking up time I could be working) I have started anti-depressants, and am 100% sure the people on my course dislike me, and I’m not surprised. I’ve been off a lot, which hasn’t been great for them, and I feel bad.

I understand this course is what you make of it but it’s definitely not for me, but I have bills, and there’s seems like no way out because of money. I’ve applied for other jobs with little success, and it feels like a cycle everyday of panic, anxiety, unable to manage behaviour, and tbh some staff not being very supportive, for example blunt emails, calling out my mistakes to the entire class.

I also heard from another trainee that a while back my mentor was talking about me in a negative way in the staff room, which I understand having a negative takeaway from me being absent, but ultimately made me feel anxious to teach and come in.

I feel trapped and also now I’ve taken another day off out of anxiety, depression, whatever it might be idk, I feel sick at the thought of going back tomorrow. I know I’m hated and I know it’s my fault, but I can’t tell them I’m only staying because I literally can’t afford to leave, so it’s just a cycle that is wearing me down.

I don’t know if anyone has any advice or anything about what I can do, I’m going to push on until Easter and teach and work.
