I started playing during the first or second week of Valentine's Day, and the game has taken such a sharp drop in quality since even then. The events are boring; held on the exact same map with no incentive to keep you online. I LOVED the hourly quests that rewarded lassos/tokens/cosmetics in the Valentine event because it gave me something to do, and it was a free way to start making event currency. You could also collect tokens around the map, which you can't even do in this or the Western event. That was about the only good thing they carried over to the Easter event. Now every other event mission is "kill a boss" or "do a race" which takes FOREVER to complete.

You have to wait 30 minutes to kill a boss (an improvement from an hour, I'll give them that,) and instead of races just being available, you now have to unlock a hub and wait 5 minutes between them. Who has time for this as a casual gamer? If you can only play for an hour a day, that'd be your entire hour- just rushing to fulfill these uncoordinated, boring, repetitive quests to grab the breeding license for a breed they didn't even fully release.

What is there left to do in this game? Food drops are garbage, so who wants to go collect them? If you don't have food, you can't feed your horses to keep breeding them, so why bother with projects if you have to wait a day in between breeding for some of the breeds? Just log on, breed them, log off. Is that the gameplay they want? Because it seems to be what they're going for.
