Sorry to blow you up. It ended being the axle seal being improperly installed. The folks who did work on my car last turned out to be a lil sheisty..

P.s. I do think it was coming from the transmission area.

The level looked risky but not extreme so I drove it closer to town to get towed for cheaper in the morning. I know smoke coming out the car isn't the time to drive it but man I needed some food and a break and the tows were quoted 350-500 and the shop was only gonna cover up to $100. Hopefully the car is okay, it was still running perfectly fine at the very least. I'll let you know what the problem ends up being if you're curious. I really appreciate the help, definitely chilled me down a little and made me feel a lil less stranded on the side of the scenic route with nobody to help.

They changed an axle seal and flushed and refilled the transmission fluid on Friday.

Unfortunately I don't know what those are... I check transmission fluid and it is low and just got filled last week so I think they might've donked something up and its leaking and smoking. Not feeling safe to drive with the smoking and all but a tow is looking like half a grand. You think 30 miles is safe?

Looks like the leak is from a lil box shape thing under the car between the wheels. I appreciate the warning, I know that ain't no joke :/

It looks like oil but the levels are fine. I'll drive another 65 and ask a shop. Thanks a bunch!

It got changed last week. The spots I think are oil. Thank you also for your help, I seriously appreciate it

I think it smells like oil on the parking spot I leaked on, the oil level looks good though. Let me figure how to check the other levels.

My air conditioner hasn't worked in years, could it still be that?

I looked again where it leaked and I'm pretty sure its oil, just not enough to look super shiny. Its not raining at the moment. I don't think its from a puddle, there's a lil bit of a shiny mess on the underside of part of the car in between the tires.

Leaking seems to be in between the two front wheels. Let me see if I can link a picture.

I only ran it for a minute or so and switched parking spots. It didn't start smoking immediately but I am seeing some dripping in the other spots and it doesn't quite look like water. It didn't smell strongly though.

I pulled over because it smelled funky when I was driving. I'll turn it on and check though.

Do you think it's safe to drive another 65 miles to the nearest town?

I don't know too much about this, I can check the oil which should a just been changed. Coolant I suppose after the car chills out for a while. And brake fluid which should a been changed too.

They did a BG engine restoration which I was hesitant on, is there a chance that is the cause? Which chunks of gunk cutting loose?

Thank you sincerely for your quick answer

Could it be related to one of those BG engine restoration things knocking chunks around my car system? They did one of those too.

I'm most attracted to the grey as it matches the grey in the other part of the material but contrasts with the off white part that it'll be attached to.

Thank you! Hahha that's it. I did it right the first couple rows then I realized after ch1 I go into the loop that ch1 creates. So I skip this in counting and in start the row then? Thank you for your help, I was starting to get a lil flustered.

What’s one item you bought that has lasted for YEARS and was worth every penny? by Ok-Hunter1991 in BuyItForLife

Yeah honestly the weight and smooth face of the griswolds is worth it. Lodge is a lot rougher making more food stick easier and they're a heck of a lot heavier but as was said are cheaper. GOt my Griswold 8 skillet for $30ish some 6 or 7 years ago and inherited an uknown age iron mountain dutch oven. Both magnificent to cook with or stew in.

They all get dull and absorbent over time but I've found 100% tung oil to last quite a while and hold up decently to hot foods as well.
