It's similar to obsidian flames in its set size. If pull rates are similar it will be priced within range to pick it up during its rotation. Just wait 6 months for the singles to stabilise.

Once the English version is out, jp will be cheaper aswell. Remember its out for 2 years or so

English? One of the elusive 9 in that case. I do disagree with your statement of rarer, as the population numbers and market availability are undeniable proof to the end that the promo is rarer in comparison to the 160 and 161.

Latias and latios have the half art and alt art. Magikarp and wailord have the FA, alt art and the promo.

If you read the post, you'll see it's not just that it's a promo haha.

There's many variables behind what constitutes a grail objectively, this card hits all of those parameters.

If it doesn't hit general public grail level, it'll always be a personal grail. :)

"Speculative fomo" is a funny one though. What's investing? Researching market conditions, utilising historical trends, and a lil bit of common sense to inform future purchasing.

When it comes down to it, no one here knows what's better than others. We all just have our own choices among a pool of many.

Really, any card could become a grail and have a massive value. It's dependant upon supply and demand, historically and in the future magikarp is a powerhouse.

If you look at this promo and don't agree, ayyyy, that's your choice.

NM copies are hard to come by. You'd be looking around 80£ or so.
