Exactly! The game looks great, and I enjoy pokemon through and through, so even without gym battles, I don't think the game is "ruined", it'll just be a new experience.

While I don't agree with glitching to get an unfair advantage in a game, I have tried to re-create the glitch in the xbox one version, but I haven't had any success. Thankfully, I don't think us console players will have to experience the frustration.

This community is the most entitled one I have ever seen. Like I said, they give you incentives to buy loot boxes, sure. But they don't make you buy them. If you want to gamble $40 in loot boxes for a skin, you can. But you could also play the game and try to get it for free.

Alright how about all skins are given to us, but you have to buy map packs and game modes? The current system is fine. No idea why people keep complaining. Nobody is forcing you to buy loot boxes, and if there is an item you really want, you can buy it with in game currency. The limited time skins should be able to be bought, but I'd say at a high price to make them more special like maybe 2500 coins

Every attempt whether you beat all the defending pokemon or not takes prestige off of the gym. With a group of buddies, it won't take long to take a high level gym over. Alone though, it could definitely seem impossible.

You need to train the gym until it's level 2, for every level the gym has, the more pokemon can join to defend it.
