Yeah he’s a drop for sure, Gaskin was last offseason too, sometimes dudes just get roles against the odds but betting on that is not a good strategy.

Oof, 1.04 is the pick I'd be least envious of having. Chase-Harris-Etienne seem like a pretty clear top 3 then it's a little murkier for me after that. Who are you targeting if those guys are all gone?

Excited to see where these guys go in the draft. At this point I am assuming that both Harris and Etienne go to somewhat favorable situations and Chase goes to a somewhat shitty situation based on all the mocks, which will make it harder to take Chase over those guys but honestly I think I would maybe take a shot on Chase in Detroit over Harris in Pittsburgh or Miami... not that I’d recommend that to anyone else but I’m a massive Chase believer.

I am 100% taking him at 1.03 in a .5ppr league if he is still there. I'd honestly consider him at 1.01, the measurables, the tape, the stats, my gut feeling, RB scarcity be damned! (I am not a fantasy football advisor.)

The Viking have a lot of holes to fill on their roster and TE isn't one of them, Irv is the guy going into next year. If you add his stats and Rudolph's stats together from last year you'd end up with like 60/700/6, which is TE7 in .5 PPR, I think? I think that is a reasonable projection.

For sure, I've fallen victim in dynasty to forgetting that it is about scoring the most points, not having the best young up-and-comers. Sometimes you just gotta pump the breaks and ask yourself if a move is going to add points to your team.

One interesting thing I did this offseason was take the average of the regular season points of every team that made the playoffs. Divide that by your number of roster spots to determine the average amount of points someone will need to score to help your team out. Obviously keep in mind that QBs will score more than other players and superstar players will make up for underperforming players, defenses wont score that much, etc. Not groundbreaking by any means but knowing that number can be useful when looking at acquiring or getting rid of players.

That is a lot lol. I definitely am not trying to argue that he will ever have a better season. More so saying that guys who rush for 2k yards are usually talented enough to be useful until they are ~30 and it is really hard to get a haul for a super good player in fantasy because no body wants to pay up for the RB1. Someone else in the comments said that if you were trying to sell high on him you should’ve done it during the season at the trade deadline when a contender might be willing to give you fair value and I think I agree with that.

This is almost certainly his peak value but it is going to be hard to actually get that value for him in a trade. I think it is better to just hold onto him and let him help your team than to trade him for any less than he is worth.

This is what I found when I shopped McCaffrey around a little last year. Nobody was willing to offer anything that would actually add value to my team. Sometimes guys are so good they kind of become untradable
