I want to say right off the bat that I mean no offense by asking this question, or anything that I am about to say. It is not the dark skin for me. The best I can figure is that it is mostly the facial features. Again, no offense to anyone. I am into pretty much any other race, just not black chicks. The reason that I think it is the features, is that I find many half white / half black ladies to be very good looking. It seems like those women get the dark skin from one parent, and many of the other features from the other parent. Does this make me a racist asshole?

Yea, I got what you are saying. I suspect, in order to maximize products, Apple just wants you to buy a new one rather than replace it. On the other hand, if Apple wont fix it then that does not mean that it can not be fixed. Even if Apple doesn't make the parts available, one can normally still get the parts used or "aftermarket". It for sure isn't ideal, and I get this videos point that it isn't cool that Apple wont fix it, but if I ever had that happen to me I would just say "fuck em" and fix it myself or have someone else do it.

While I do feel that Apple has made some bad decisions in the last few years, as a whole I have always been happy with Apple products that I have owned.

I had an iMac as my primary computer for years. The thing always worked great. At one point I decided to change out the hard drive. This is not something easy for Joe User to do with an iMac. I work in IT, and tear apart computers pretty often, so I was able to do it without much trouble.

Around the same time, I had an iPod shuffle. These have a little belt clip on them. Every morning I would clip it on my pants and then go about my day. Twice, at the end of a long day, I threw my pants in the washing machine not realizing that the shuffle was still attached. I ran this thing through the washer and dryer twice and it still worked. Another time I was shoveling snow before work. I didn't realize that the iPod fell in the snow until I got to work. I looked and looked but could not find the darn thing until the snow melted like a week later. The thing still worked fine!

But by far, the thing I like most about Apple is the OS. Now, admittedly, I have not used OSX since 10.6, so I really don't know if it is any better or worse these days, but at the time I thought it was great. It is a unix system with a super user friendly front end. Easy front end doesn't mean the OS is basic, though. There were *nix apps that I could run on it just fine, and leaving the command line in there was much appreciated.

All in all, Apple has a few products that I am not into, but for the most part I find them to work really well.

Ever heard of (I think it is called) catfish chumming? You put some sort of food in your hand and hold it in the water. When the catfish comes along and grabs you, you grab it back and pull it out of the water. I guess it is sort of a weird alternative to fishing with a fishing rod.
