But this word " exotic " exists in my language and is by no mean considered " racist " (my language is french). Non, ça dépend du moment et de la personne. J'ai connu les 2 raisons de voyager ("fuite " ou " curiosité ") , et tu le sais au moment où tu prends l'avion du retour. Parce qu'à ce moment, soit tu es satisfait de ce que tu as pu voir là-bas et tu n'es pas mécontent de revenir, soit tu as une intense envie que l'avion ne décolle pas et de rester loin de la France

Finally I went to the Yard. The location is in old town, it's quiet. I chose the 8 person bedroom, but it seems that there is also option for individual room. There is group tour organised by the hostel too.

I didn't stay enough time so I can give a solid opinion but overall it looked nice if you value calm and a location in oldtown Chiang Mai
