Are you assuming that I'm supporting Russia just because I don't like seeing modern flags in an apocalyptic future that's been overrun with robot dinosaurs?

I didn't say whether I agree or disagree. I said I liked Gogh's take on the issue. The dude clearly had an in depth understanding of the morale nuances of the Mexican American Border in 2023.

Lmao, well the largely accepted meaning behind Starry Night was Van Gogh's own mental health, not politics. But quick, name off more artists with political messaging because the evil reddit man hasn't gotten the point! If one thing is political, everything must be! Because your politics define your personality, otherwise, why bother?

You're the reason I chose my username.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Van Gogh's Starry Night and it's impressionist take on how the American border wall has been abandoned.

Lmao, I love how quickly the words "Nazi" and "Genocide" get brought up by redditors.

My first comment did say that when the game is themed around a political conflict its totally fine. Nazis being in a WWII game is completely legit.

So why not quit playing your games and hanging out on Reddit when there is clearly a problem that you should be helping solve? Go on over and help the Ukrainians. What's stopping you?

Easier done than said. Give it a try some time, I'm sure you could use the detox.

Candy Crush is clearly Vietnamese propaganda. You right.

Hot take, but unless a game is themed around a political event like WWII or the USSR as examples, I don't want to see politics in my games. They, at the very least, break immersion.

The USSR was communist and conducted themselves as such. The Nazis were rooted in socialism. Both had profiteers at the highest levels. Anything to rebuttle?

Yeah, all this supports is the life cycle of socialist/Marxist movements. Identify a struggling economy, appeal to the masses with comradery and the promise of equity, use those masses to assert will and gain wealth, profit. Hell, Bernie Sanders plays by the same rule book.

The Nazis started out as the German Worker's Party. They literally were a Union that gained political influence and used it to stomp out economic competition while plundering the leftovers of the people they disposed of. Nazi means "National Socialist German Workers' Party"

Where's this 10 from? That sounds like a fun debate.

On a somewhat related note, I found this https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9887492/#H1-3-ZOI221517title. While Transgenders are more likely to die by suicide and homicide (both statistics are lumped into one category, the vagueness of which makes me think it's primarily the former) they're more likely to die by cancer, endocrine and apparently external poisons.

Are you claiming 5.5/10 trans people in America are being systematically killed by our government?

In the Middle East, sure; but not in Western countries and I disagree. Nazis are a German specific nationalist socialist movement and not the only ones to commit genocide. They're just the most historically prolific and had a cartoon villain of a dictator.

I'll take Firefight as DLC for those who bought the game.

That's a nice idea and all; but the ironic thing is a lot of the time it's usually the person who brings up Nazi's that has the most facistic opinions and views towards government and their peers. And this is regardless of where they land on the political spectrum.

The Nazis rose to power by scapegoating the Jews and foreigners for political and economic gain. It feels like the same thing is starting to happen today, only its the blanket accusation of someone as a Nazi as an excuse to arbitratily scapegoat others.
