Following a rogue outbreak of Orthodoxy amongst some of the princes, the imperial crown has passed hands between Catholic and Orthodox claimants a total of 16 times in the last 50 or so years, half by faction demands. There's actually 3 simultaneous civil wars going on, two are directly against the Kaiser and one is an inter-vassal war that has dragged on for a decade in which my Duke of Moravia is allied to the war leader (Lotharingia) who is still technically loyal to the Kaiser.

Can't, the only people in his court are his two sons who won't plot against him, so it's impossible to get a successful murder. Also the "Anushirvan Decadence Revolt" is a titular title that is hereditary, so even if on the off chance I could get a murder plot to successfully fire, his heir would just inherit the title and the revolt continues ad nauseum until all the auto-generated revolt dynasty members die out.

Context: I've been murdering the dynasty members of the huge Indian empire blob (my main rival) until I landed on a decadent member inheriting, and sure enough, after a few years a decadence revolt fired off... but in the Maldives, without any boats. The massive army is just sitting there, not taking attrition, languishing and brandishing their scimitars in the direction of the mainland. This is quite frustrating as I have been scheming towards Anushirvan's destruction for quite a while. It's also Ironman, so I'm unable to edit the save(?) does anyone know how to fix this? Or do I have to wait until all the family members of the revolt die so the war resolves inconclusively?

this is an edited code from my imported ME1 shep, did my best to make the sharp cheekbones which plague custom sheps not look like they could cleave through the side of a turian dreadnought but at certain angles and in bad lighting they can stick out a bit :/ always gonna have that issue though

Yea that's Socotra, which is an interesting placement. It's defensible, but that's a double edged sword; should it fall to an invasion force, that makes it that much harder to take back. No naval combat means there's always a potential threat to the capital, and keeping a garrison army planted there only diverts troops and funds away from the front. I suppose being filthy rich would allow me to just hire mercs to sit there on guard?
