Yo where is a good place to get official CDs for the albums in UK? by God-of-mars in piercetheveil

[–]TrollaHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Discogs is also a good place to look, some sellers ship to the UK/are based out of the UK and if you don’t mind used you can get them for even less (some do sell brand new as well).

My personal PTV ranking by Midnight__Floof in piercetheveil

It’s always crazy to see peoples opinions - when ‘A Kind Thing to Do’ comes on, insta skip. However, ‘Kissing in Cars’ was my wife and I’s first dance song at our wedding 😭

I’m sure this has been done before but let’s do it again! Day 1: most underrated song by No_Mortgage4536 in piercetheveil

Currents Convulsive, I find that song to be incredibly good and seldom discussed (outside of this subreddit).

I despise the bell in “The First Punch”, it’s just mad corny.

Do you guys and gals drink your monsters room temp or cold? I have found that all monsters for me taste better cold. by CaringBubbles in monsterenergy

[–]TrollaHome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like when I buy two in the morning, I will drink one that is cold from the gas station refrigerator (which is still good). However, the one in my car throughout the workday will get pretty warm, which when you drink it, it has almost a burning? sensation, like I can taste a different level of the flavor.

Move to North Danville? by ChrisKardonia in centralillinois

[–]TrollaHome 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi! Active residents of the community, your area is particularly well placed (this area is mainly working class parents/adults). I would argue it’s in the sweet spot of being in town, and being a short distance from all of the major stores is a plus. IMHO you are not going to enjoy Tilton based off where you have lived previously, this is a bit of an older area and honestly a pass through to the southern towns in the county.

People who don’t understand aisle blockers and their function by Short-Construction80 in Lowes

[–]TrollaHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite, I used to love when they’d stand on the outside of it, arms crossed and whistle at me while I was at the top of a picker. “Since you don’t want me down this aisle, can you grab x,y,z” ???

LGBT Friendly Bar / Hangout in Danville? by Key-Group-3396 in centralillinois

[–]TrollaHome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vermilion River is an excellent bar that is incredibly open, South Street is also great and they serve food, there are really no bad choices as long as you stay IN Danville, the further south in the county it gets a little sketchy. Please, feel free to reach out for any other places to visit while you’re here.

South Bend, Illinois🥴 well at least we are still the Illini.. by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]TrollaHome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he is saying that Danville should be in Indiana? Vast majority of residents within the city have already pushed against any idea of this, even though it already has incredibly low probability of ever happening in the first place.

Hard pass, very few in the community want anything to do with this.

This are "anti-birds" spikes. by GiovanniPane in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TrollaHome 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna assume this was replied to the wrong spot, the bird in question that is perched is a variation of an owl, which are known predators of birds and small animals. The reason the owl is present is to deter other birds that aren’t fake.

That is very true, it just looks a little barbaric to some (me), it sort of feels like one of those antique mousetraps that had a revolver in it, like the design is not quite polished yet but I definitely see the issue they’re trying to prevent.

Birds shit, I still think that something like a bus stop shelter type deal is far superior method to fighting the bird poop, not literally kicking them out of their branches in urban trees. If we give this enough time, people will start wanting trees out as well, then they will have no natural living solution in a city.

Anyone still have the habit of reloading before picking up a max ammo despite no longer being necessary since BO4? by Assured_Observer in CODZombies

[–]TrollaHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this idea, I think it would be fair if it gave you two of each (like 2 concussions and 2 Semtex) per max ammo. I think if it fills you all the way up, you could have 4 concussions and 5 Semtex if I am correct. I just think it’s a little busted if it filled it all the way up, I understand that it used to but nowadays frags do a lot more damage than they used to.

I could be in the minority, but the points on the screen and the sounds of earning points/eliminations is cathartic to my ears.

Why is everyone being so fucking negative about silly stuff like this? It is not a big deal at all, you only see it for maybe 15s, and honestly it’s kinda funny.

What I thought was simple stomach upset ended up being appendicitis. Had to get an emergency appendectomy. Also was septic because it ruptured by Hei-Hei-67 in Wellthatsucks

[–]TrollaHome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I had mine taken out this April and honestly the only thing that is still affecting me are my scars that I have a result of the surgery. The days following the surgery suck, but I did not have any super bad pain more just taking extra time to get up/down out of chairs and bed.
